New to Grow
If your brain never fully shuts off, you overthink everything, or you feel mentally exhausted even when life looks “fine” from the outside, therapy can help. I work best with thoughtful, self-aware adults dealing with anxiety, ADHD, burnout, functional depression, stress, relationship patterns, and life transitions. My style is calm, conversational, and low-pressure. I’m not a rigid or overly clinical therapist, and I don’t believe therapy should feel performative or scripted. I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and feel more emotionally clear and grounded in everyday life.
The first session is mostly about getting a feel for each other and seeing whether we’re a good fit. You do not need to prepare perfectly or know exactly what to say ahead of time. Sessions with me tend to feel conversational, collaborative, and relaxed while still being productive. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, patterns you may be noticing, what feels stuck, and what you want to change, improve, or better understand.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I feel like a real person rather than a “therapy robot.” One of my biggest strengths is helping people organize overwhelming thoughts, recognize patterns, and connect the dots between emotions, relationships, behaviors, and nervous system responses in a way that actually feels practical and meaningful. I balance support with honesty and directness. I do best with clients who want therapy that feels human, grounded, insightful, and genuinely useful rather than surface-level.
My ideal client is someone who is open to engaging in therapy in an honest, collaborative way. I work especially well with reflective, insight-oriented clients who want to better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping and functioning. I am neurodivergent, and my therapy style tends to be more conversational and natural rather than overly scripted or robotic. I do best with clients who are willing to give me something to work with and are open to processing thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life patterns together in a meaningful way. My approach balances empathy with practicality. I am supportive and compassionate, but I am also honest and direct when needed. I will absolutely have your back, while also gently holding you accountable to the goals you set for yourself. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It is about helping you better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels healthier, more authentic, and more manageable. You are in the driver’s seat here. Sessions are collaborative, and your goals, values, and comfort level matter. No need to perform or wear a mask in therapy with me. You can show up exactly as you are.
Other specialties
I identify as
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My work is strongly rooted in person-centered therapy. I focus on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel emotionally safe enough to process openly and honestly. I believe many people already understand coping skills intellectually, but still need a space where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and able to explore what is actually going on beneath the surface.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in a flexible, practical way to help clients recognize patterns between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses. Rather than treating therapy like a rigid worksheet exercise, I integrate CBT conversationally and collaboratively so it feels useful, realistic, and applicable to everyday life.
