If your brain never fully shuts off, you overthink everything, or you feel mentally exhausted even when life looks “fine” from the outside, you’re in the right place. I work best with thoughtful, reflective adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. My approach is conversational, direct, and insight-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is about me having all the answers. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you identify patterns, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, and uncover solutions that already fit who you are. Clients often appreciate my open-minded approach, curiosity, and ability to create a space where they can think out loud without judgment. Therapy with me is less about being told what to do and more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want to move through the world.
The first session is mostly about getting a feel for each other and talking through what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, patterns you’ve been noticing, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. My sessions tend to feel more like a conversation than a formal interview. I work best with clients who enjoy reflecting on their experiences, thinking about things at a deeper level, and being actively involved in their own growth. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s happening, identify patterns, and figure out what changes would actually improve your life.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I feel like a real person rather than a therapy robot. I’m naturally open-minded, down-to-earth, and comfortable discussing topics that can feel awkward, complicated, or difficult to talk about elsewhere. My style is direct, grounded, and conversational. Rather than relying on scripts, clichés, or excessive reassurance, I focus on helping clients think through situations more clearly, consider different perspectives, and make decisions that align with their values and goals. I work well with people who appreciate honesty, independent thinking, and a practical approach to personal growth. Therapy with me is a space to explore what’s working, what’s not, and what changes are actually worth making.
My ideal client is someone who is open to engaging in therapy in an honest, collaborative way. I work especially well with reflective, insight-oriented clients who want to better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping and functioning. I am neurodivergent, and my therapy style tends to be more conversational and natural rather than overly scripted or robotic. I do best with clients who are willing to give me something to work with and are open to processing thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life patterns together in a meaningful way. My approach balances empathy with practicality. I am supportive and compassionate, but I am also honest and direct when needed. I will absolutely have your back, while also gently holding you accountable to the goals you set for yourself. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It is about helping you better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels healthier, more authentic, and more manageable. You are in the driver’s seat here. Sessions are collaborative, and your goals, values, and comfort level matter. No need to perform or wear a mask in therapy with me. You can show up exactly as you are.
Other specialties
I identify as
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My work is strongly rooted in person-centered therapy. I focus on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel emotionally safe enough to process openly and honestly. I believe many people already understand coping skills intellectually, but still need a space where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and able to explore what is actually going on beneath the surface.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in a flexible, practical way to help clients recognize patterns between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses. Rather than treating therapy like a rigid worksheet exercise, I integrate CBT conversationally and collaboratively so it feels useful, realistic, and applicable to everyday life.
