About me

Xavier Fullerton, affectionately known as “X,” is a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling. He is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over eight years of experience across a range of clinical settings. In September 2024, Xavier transitioned out of managed care to pursue a more intentional path in mental health. By December 2024, he launched his private practice, Just Therapy PLLC, with a mission rooted in addressing men’s issues—particularly the emotional intelligence and well-being of Black men. Xavier’s therapeutic philosophy prioritizes people over diagnoses. He focuses on creating affirming, culturally attuned spaces where shared experiences lead to healing, self-awareness, and feeling truly seen.

Having worked with many populations, I have learned to connect with others in the most amazing ways. I focus on the therapist-client relationship rooted in genuine sincerity. Regarding this relationship as the most significant part of therapy ensures that clients feel safe, heard, and understood.

I have seen several therapists in the course of my years, and Xavier has been the most effective therapist I have ever seen. He is down to earth, listens to understand, is non-judgmental, focuses on the client, and helps to get to root-causes of the issues. When you need him, he always makes himself available to you. He cares enough to go the extra mile.
