I am a master's level licensed mental health counselor with diagnostic privilege in the state of New York who has several years clinical experience helping people improve their overall quality of life. Individuals I have successfully worked with have come from diverse populations of all ages who had been diagnosed with a wide range of minor to severe mental health and medical diagnoses. I have earned my Diagnostic Privilege credential and am certified to diagnose mental health conditions by the NYS Office of the Professions. I am an Eagle Scout and member of Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society in mental health counseling and Golden Key International Honor Society.

During my 9 years of experience, I have been providing psychotherapy to both adolescents and adults across a range of clinical settings. My professional background includes working in the community as a family therapist on an Assertive Community Treatment team, where I treated individuals with serious mental illnesses, as well as serving as a crisis counselor at multiple crisis centers. I also have experience working as a Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Specialist in New York City public schools and as a therapist in a substance abuse treatment clinic.
My clinical work primarily focuses on helping clients manage and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, recognize and regulate anger and develop healthier emotional and behavioral coping strategies. I support clients in identifying triggers, increasing self awareness and building skills to help manage intense emotions in adaptive ways. I also work extensively with individuals experiencing major life transitions, helping them navigate the stressors associated with change, including uncertainty, instability and shifts in identity or roles. Through a collaborative and strengths based approach, I assist clients in building resilience, increasing emotional well being and fostering personal growth during challenging times. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New York and Indiana. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles. Previously, I had a 30 year career in the Film & Television industry. My passions were, the Film business & Psychology. I said to myself, the day I become disinterested in the Film business, I'll go to graduate school, get my degree in psychology and become a psychotherapist. That day came and here I am. I have been practicing since 2009.
