Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and improve their emotional well-being. I earned my Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University and have spent my career supporting people through difficult periods while helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition that feels difficult to manage on your own. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences, gain clarity, and begin moving toward healing and growth. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I work closely with my clients to help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while developing effective coping strategies that support lasting change. Together, we focus on building resilience, strengthening self-awareness, and creating healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care and creating an environment where every client feels respected, valued, and understood. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. If you’re ready to invest in your mental health and personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and building upon the strengths and resources that individuals already possess rather than solely focusing on their problems or deficits. My experience with this treatment method as a therapist has been incredibly positive. I often begin by helping clients identify their strengths, whether personal qualities, skills, or external resources. This approach can help clients develop a more positive self-image and build confidence in overcoming challenges. I then work with clients to explore how they can use these strengths to address their current difficulties and achieve their goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I often use CBT techniques to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to their emotional distress or problematic behaviors. This process involves teaching clients to become more aware of their thoughts and to examine the evidence for and against them. By doing so, clients can develop more balanced and realistic ways of thinking, leading to mood and behavior improvements.

Grief Therapy

I approach grief therapy with a compassionate and client-centered focus in my practice. I recognize that grief is a highly individual and complex process, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate their unique healing journey.
