I have over 25 years experience as a licensed mental health counselor and substance use working with individuals of all ages. I provide a safe, non judgmental environment. I support individuals by allowing you to gain insight, recognize, and utilize your own abilities to reach your goals. I currently work with adults.
I integrate mindfulness, meditation, and yoga to help develop a stronger relationship with yourself.

First session
During our first session, there will be a brief introduction and individuals typically discuss their reasons for seeking therapy as well as setting goals to address during sessions. There will be a collaborative discussion to help tailor the therapeutic approach to your needs.

I feel my strengths are effective communication, empathy, active listening, adaptability to individual needs, and my ability to establish a strong therapeutic rapport.

The population I serve is adults 18 years and older.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a mental health therapist, I am trained in CBT. My approach to therapy involves helping individuals identify and challenge Negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. CBT is structured and goal oriented, which makes it effective for treating a wide range of conditions.
