Caitlin Erickson
With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in working with children ages 4–7 using play based therapy, a developmentally appropriate approach that meets children where they are. Because play is a natural way children communicate and make sense of the world around them, it provides a safe and engaging space for them to express emotions, work through difficult experiences, and develop new skills. Additionally, I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are navigating difficult family dynamics and relationship challenges. I help clients find their voice, build self trust, set healthier boundaries, and heal from toxic or emotionally harmful relationships. Together, we work to better understand patterns, strengthen self worth, and move toward relationships that feel safer, more balanced, and more fulfilling.
First session
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, explore your goals, and begin identifying what you would like to change or work toward. This session is collaborative and paced in a way that feels comfortable for you, while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of whether the approach feels like a good fit.
Strengths
My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and connection. I strive to create a space where clients can come as they are, with an emphasis on honesty and trust.
