(she/her)
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years of experience supporting individuals from young adulthood through later life. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope. My approach is deeply patient-centered—I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of every person I work with. My priority is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with their strengths on the path toward healing and personal growth.
During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, personal history, and goals, while also giving you space to share what feels most important to you. My goal in the first session is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. We’ll also talk about how therapy works, what you can expect in future sessions, and any questions or concerns you have about the process.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is its foundation in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. By blending a patient-centered approach with evidence-based methods, clients often notice meaningful changes—greater self-awareness, improved coping skills, and an increased sense of confidence and resilience. My goal is always to help clients navigate challenges, process emotions, and achieve lasting personal growth in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
I’m best positioned to support young adults through older adults who are ready to explore their emotions, heal from past experiences, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, or weighed down by stress, trauma, or self-doubt. They’re often seeking a sense of balance, confidence, and clarity as they navigate life’s transitions or challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core treatment approach with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns. I appreciate CBT’s structured, goal-oriented nature and its focus on helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR, and I use this approach primarily with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or distressing life events that continue to impact their daily functioning. I value EMDR for its ability to help clients process traumatic memories in a way that reduces emotional distress and fosters adaptive beliefs about themselves.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is grounded in patient-centered care. I believe that each client is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where they feel safe, respected, and empowered to guide their own healing process.
