I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of field experience. I specialize in clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues but have worked with clients with numerous mental health and life struggles including parenting issues, bipolar, self-harm, grief/loss, and much more.
I know starting therapy can feel scary and overwhelming so I strive to provide a warm, welcoming therapeutic environment. A strong relationship is the most important thing to me during the therapeutic process. Once that is established then we can focus on the work that needs to be done.
People seeking improvement or understanding in their lives can almost always benefit from talking things through. Whether you want to explore childhood issues, heal from trauma, deal with work stress, address anxiety and depression symptoms, or something else, I can help you accomplish your goals. Do you feel un-help-able? Having spent ten years in community mental health, I have worked with people from all walks of life, with all different needs, and feel comfortable talking with most people about most things.
I hope to cultivate a safe, open space to examine whatever aspect(s) of your life you seek clarity and/or change. Talking about trauma, stress, relationships, or other unhappy circumstances is difficult, and I do my best to make it easy and comfortable. If you have been looking for someone to help you navigate life, please don't hesitate to message or call!
Please note: my professional calendars do not sync properly and if you schedule yourself, I may have to contact you to reschedule.
Also, please be aware that like most clinicians in private practice, I have late cancel/no-show fees. Grow requires you to acknowledge and agree to this when you book an appointment, but a link to a pop-up on the booking page tells you the specific details for the person you are scheduling with. My fees are: $125 for missed appointments with no notification/contact, and $75 for late cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
You don't have to keep holding it all together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship conflicts, a major life transition, or the overwhelming love and loss that can come with new motherhood — you deserve a space to set it down for a while, and someone to help you hold it.

Everyone deserves a safe and nurturing space to heal, grow, and be fully seen. I am honored to hold that space for you. The many roles I’ve carried throughout my life have shaped the therapist I am today, someone who understands that life is both beautiful and challenging, often at the same time. I know that life can be a beautiful struggle, full of complexity, growth, and challenge. My approach is holistic as I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that supports your unique journey. Utilizing my formal education, specialized training, and lived experiences, I am here to walk alongside you as you move through life’s obstacles and celebrations.
Let’s talk about it. You don’t have to carry it alone.
If you're reading this, then you have made a tremendously brave and important step in seeking self-betterment through individual counseling. Whether life can seem steady or unsteady at times, we all, nevertheless, lose track of our coping skills and rely on unhealthy habits and poor routines from time to time. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centric, Narrative Therapy, and the best evidence-based practices. My specialties include working with medical issues and physical health, intimate and romantic relationships, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ support, multicultural and diversity issues.
As a licensed Psychologist, I first prioritize learning not only why a person is contacting me, but also to be able to relate to that person based on their individual needs and what are their expectations of therapy. I believe that we all need to have a sense of purpose or meaningfulness in our lives, something that our thoughts, emotions and life experiences contribute to the "heart" of our personalities.
The process of healing from the challenges of life begins with a search for truth about our beliefs, habits and relationships. Physical health is affected by our mental health through the complex interactions between the brain and bodily functions. Interventions I use in my sessions include Cognitive Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT.
As a Psychologist, I have worked in private practice, long term care, and forensic and psychiatric hospitals. Even though these patient populations are diverse, the common denominator is the human "heart". My sessions work to connect a person's sense of meaning in life to help them overcome anxiety, depression and a loss of personal identity in this complex world.
Hi, I'm Mac. Clients tell me I'm a good listener, have useful skills and suggestions, and am really good at explaining things. I'm a trauma-trained therapist: Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) Certified, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training levels I and 2, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapist level 1.

Hi, I'm Kendra, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about helping teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while creating a space where they feel heard, supported, and accepted. I began working in the field of mental health and substance use treatment in 2018. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, working through anxiety or depression, facing relationship challenges, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking for personal growth, I'm here to support you.
I specialize in working with women and LGBTQ+ adults who are ready to stop repeating the same relationship patterns and start building a healthier relationship with themselves.
You may find yourself questioning your worth, losing yourself in relationships or friendships, struggling to trust your own decisions, or feeling stuck in patterns you know no longer serve you. Together, we'll explore where those patterns began, strengthen your self-trust, and create lasting change rooted in emotional safety and self-respect.
My approach integrates attachment-informed, trauma-focused, and evidence-based therapy with practical tools that support meaningful change beyond our sessions. I believe healing involves the whole person, recognizing the impact of relationships, trauma, nervous system regulation, physical health, and life transitions on emotional wellbeing.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist, I also support clients navigating intimacy, sexuality, sexual trauma, religious shame, relationship transitions, and recovery from intimate partner violence.
First time in therapy? Or ready to make a real change? It can feel uncomfortable opening up to someone new—but you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I work with teens, young adults, and millennials—especially men and people of color—who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and past experiences that may still be impacting them. I focus on creating a space that feels real, supportive, and easy to step into, while helping you better understand yourself, your needs, and build the clarity and confidence to move forward.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who blends clinical precision with genuine human connection. I don’t believe therapy should feel distant or scripted, it should feel intentional, focused, and grounded in real conversation. I’m engaged, attentive, and not afraid to ask the thoughtful questions that move us past surface level insight.
Clients work with me because I balance warmth with direction. I’ll validate your experience, but I’ll also help you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. When appropriate, I bring a grounded sense of humor and authenticity into the room, because meaningful work can still feel approachable.
If you’re looking for therapy that is purposeful, collaborative, and designed to create lasting change, you’ll find that here.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, mother, runner, and yoga enthusiast. I believe that everyone would benefit from talk therapy because life is challenging, complicated, and busy. I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.
I'm Dr. Ehsan Adib Shabahang, founder of AtReef Therapy PLLC and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I hold a PhD in Psychology with a concentration in social psychology and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
My practice provides integrative, depth-oriented therapy for couples and individuals, conducted entirely through secure telehealth. I work most often with high-achieving adults and couples who function well professionally but find themselves facing patterns that intelligence, success, or effort alone have not resolved: recurring conflict, emotional distance, perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, and questions about identity, meaning, and direction.
My clinical approach draws on relational and depth psychology, Jungian psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, integrated according to each client's needs rather than applied as a fixed protocol. I am also the developer of Self-Reflective Relationship Therapy (SRRT), a research-informed framework that emphasizes self-reflection, emotional responsibility, and translating insight into real behavioral change.
Therapy with me is not only about understanding why a pattern exists. Insight matters, but it is not the goal on its own. I focus equally on what changes in your communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, and decisions once that understanding is in place.
I see couples working through betrayal, disconnection, and recurring cycles of conflict, and I see individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, identity transitions, and the gap between a capable public self and a more uncertain private one. I also bring particular attention to intercultural relationships and cross-cultural identity, informed by my own doctoral research and background working across cultures.
If you are looking for a therapist who will engage directly, take your patterns seriously, and hold you accountable to real change rather than surface-level coping strategies, I would be glad to work with you.
I am a self-aware and open-minded human service professional. My love for helping people is supported by decades of experience in various professional clinical roles. To share a few more qualities, I am patient, empathic, possess good listening and communication skills. Hi there, I am Belma Johnson. I am an LICSW with over 20 years experience working with adolescents in various settings, including in the school system. I am kind, genuine, relatable, and funny. I utilize the elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, so in plain words, I help young people identify negative thoughts and behaviors that might be causing them some emotional stress. I work with my clients on finding coping mechanisms that they can put in their own coping skills toolbox that can help in the school or family setting.
**New Clients: Before scheduling, please ensure you have availability that aligns with my practice hours, particularly evening or flexible scheduling options. Because my calendar fills quickly, I encourage new clients to book several appointments in advance if they are looking for consistent care. Many long-term clients transition to biweekly or monthly sessions, which may create additional openings over time. Clients are responsible for managing their appointments. Please note that all cancellations are subject to my cancellation policy and applicable fees, with no exceptions.**
Do you find yourself overthinking everything, especially your relationships, conversations, or whether you’ve disappointed someone? Maybe you’re the person everyone depends on, yet you’re quietly overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. You may struggle to set boundaries, put other people’s needs before your own, or find yourself constantly seeking reassurance.
I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship concerns, people-pleasing, perfectionism, low self-confidence, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty putting yourself first.
Therapy with me is more than having a place to vent. I want to help you understand why these patterns keep showing up and learn how to change them.
Together, we’ll identify the thoughts, behaviors, relationship dynamics, and emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll work on practical ways to manage anxiety, communicate more effectively, set boundaries without guilt, build confidence in your decisions, and stop allowing fear or other people’s reactions to determine your choices.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and active. I’ll listen and validate your experiences, but I’m not a therapist who simply nods for 50 minutes. I’ll ask questions, offer honest feedback, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and provide practical strategies you can use outside of sessions.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life.

Hi, my name is Bradley Levy LICSW and have 20 years of experience in the field. Are there changes that either you want to or need to act upon? If things feel too difficult to change and you need guidance, support, direction, and empathic listening you might be a great candidate for individual therapy from me. What separates me from other clinicians is my versatility. Throughout my career, I have worked at every level of care and every population. From individual therapy/group therapy to intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs to being the clinical director at a locked psychiatric hospital, I have seen pretty much everything.
My main objective in all cases is to try and build a trusting rapport/relationship in which no judgment is made and an atmosphere where one can feel safe talking about difficult issues, their current level or desire to change through motivational interviewing and CBT. Over the years I have come to develop areas of extreme expertise such as addiction (either oneself or a loved one), co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis, dealing with any diagnosis from adjustment disorders to more complex or serious mental illness which includes major depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and the conditions that fall within these categories. In addition, I can offer case management services, assist with paperwork, or find the right treatment if need a higher level of care.
*Action-oriented Therapist* Most anxiety and depression evolve from procrastination, which leads to inaction. I have the ability to help people who are looking to take action on their goals which require behavioral change. Change becomes natural once a person understands their unintentional programming from childhood and decides to work on their discipline. Discipline is simply your ability to prioritize the needs of your "future" self ahead of your "present" self. I do not prescribe medication; however, I can refer you to a Grow Provider if need be.

My name is Nadine Thompson, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Clinical Practice, from Smith College School of Social Work in 1991. I also have post-graduate certification in Addiction counseling, multicultural practice, DBT, and Couples and Family Therapy. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, relationships/parenting, and more. Over the past 30 years as a clinician, my experience has taught me that the most important aspect of counseling by far is the rapport, connection, and comfort you feel with your therapist. Recently, I have come to really see the value in being able "to hold space" for clients to express their deepest feelings and possibly find the answers and direction that they need as they become more self-aware.
We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. I believe in the power of “telling our stories”, as a pathway to healing and resilience. Our work together may include you being able to see yourself and those around you more clearly and develop tools and strategies for creating change in your life.

I have been practicing clinical social work since I received my Masters in 1986. Settings I have worked in include: community mental health agencies, youth residential programs, schools (elementary, middle and high school), remote therapy platforms. I love my work and easily connect with all types of clients, placing importance on building trusting therapeutic alliances. I believe that patients exhibit courage to engage in the therapeutic process. I view the therapeutic alliance between myself and client as a partnership. Throughout the process I make sure to check in with the client about how they are perceiving things such as the development of the relationship and the pace of the process for the client. I am always open to feedback.
In our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what's brought you to therapy and what your're hoping will feel different. From there, I'll share tools you can practice between sessions, but we'll always move at a pace that feels right to you. I work especially well with clients who are ready to show up and do the work. If you're looking for a therapist who brings warmth, humor, and a genuine investment in your growth, I'd love to be part of your journey.
