Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Massachusetts, but also licensed in Maine. I am skilled in the realms of trauma, co-occurring disorders, anxiety and depression, and transitioning to adulthood. I strive to help parents and couples navigate the challenges of the perinatal period, returning to work postpartum and childhood development. I utilize a EMDR, client-centered, culturally sensitive, strength-based, collaborative, and direct approach to help clients work through transitional times in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. If this is your first time in therapy, think of it as a conversation highlighting your needs; I am meeting you where you are. I help you feel ready to face the next steps in your life's story.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Above all else, I believe in unconditional positive regard. Tools are great, but ultimately, trust, our connection, and finding relief by feeling heard and understood is what helps us carry on.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you are struggling with trauma, I am here to help walk you through reprocessing the memories and how your body responds, using EMDR. We will develop the tools you need to confidently re-organize how you carry the trauma with you. If this trauma is impacting your day to day functioning, sexual performance, relationship stability, and working, we can reduce its power over you.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused therapy is a goal-directed collaborative approach to psychotherapeutic change that is conducted through direct observation of clients' responses to a series of precisely constructed questions.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps re-process and reduce distress from traumatic memories by using guided bilateral stimulation while recalling those experiences.
