About me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with empathy and understanding to create a safe, supportive space for growth. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to identify goals, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful as you move toward the life you want.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to wonder what to expect. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to work on what matters most to you. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical and evidence-based approach that focuses on how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop strategies to help you feel more in control, confident, and capable of creating meaningful change. In our first session, the focus will be on getting to know you—your story, your values, and the challenges that brought you here. You don’t need to have everything figured out; this is your time to share at your own pace. I’ll meet you where you are, listening with curiosity and care, and together we’ll begin exploring what you’d like to change or improve. I’ll also explain more about how therapy works so you know what to expect moving forward. From there, we’ll begin building a plan tailored to your needs and priorities. Therapy with me is collaborative—your input matters, and together we’ll create a path that feels manageable and meaningful. You can expect sessions that are supportive, practical, and focused on your goals. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling heard and equipped with tools you can use in daily life. Over time, these small, steady steps add up to lasting growth. If you’re ready to begin, know that this is a safe space where your experiences are respected, your goals are at the center, and we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and hopeful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a collaborative and supportive partnership with my clients. I believe therapy works best when your voice, needs, and goals are at the center of our work together. My role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood, and where your experiences are respected and valued. I focus on helping you recognize and build on your own strengths while also providing tools and guidance to navigate life’s challenges. Through active listening, validation, and encouragement, I work to create an environment where trust and respect allow for meaningful growth. Together, we’ll identify goals that matter to you and take practical steps toward achieving them. Clients often find that our work not only helps them manage current struggles but also empowers them with lasting skills to live with greater balance, resilience, and fulfillment. My strength lies in walking alongside you on this journey—supporting, guiding, and celebrating your progress as you move toward the life you want.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and older adults who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful change. Many of my clients come to me struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, or simply feeling stuck, and are looking for a safe, supportive space where they can begin to make sense of what they’re experiencing. My role is to meet you where you are, listen with care, and walk alongside you as we work toward your goals. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, which means we focus not only on understanding the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, but also on building practical strategies to help you feel more in control and confident in daily life. Every plan we create is tailored to your unique needs, values, and circumstances, because therapy should fit who you are—not the other way around. I place a strong emphasis on building trust and fostering a genuine, collaborative relationship. If you are ready to explore your experiences, develop healthier ways of coping, and take steps—big or small—toward greater well-being, I would be honored to support you on your path to a more balanced, fulfilling, and meaningful life.
