Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I received my Masters from the Howard University and have been practicing for 5 years. I help people realize the underlying reasons to their stressful factors and lay out a personalized plan towards the goals they would like achieve. Therapy itself can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I am fully engaged with you through your journey.
I’m a compassionate and collaborative therapist dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT, attachment-based, somatic, and trauma-informed therapies. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring the work to their unique needs, helping them build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.
I’m a therapist who offers a thoughtful, practical space to help you understand patterns, navigate emotions, and move forward. I work collaboratively, blending evidence-based tools with a warm, human approach tailored to your needs. My style is calm, direct, and supportive, helping you make sense of what’s happening and what to do next. I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space to explore challenges and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Provides measurement-informed care and therapeutic alliance.
I’m a licensed professional counselor who works with adults navigating identity, relationships, ambition, and the internal pressure to “have it together.” Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, high-capacity individuals who appear stable and successful on the outside but feel conflicted, stuck, or emotionally isolated underneath. My role is to create a space where complexity is welcomed and nothing has to be simplified to be understood.
My background in mental health allows me to approach therapy with both clinical rigor and relational depth. I pay attention to patterns — in attachment, communication, shame, avoidance, over-functioning, and self-criticism — and help you understand how those patterns developed and why they made sense at the time. From there, we work toward updating them so they align with who you are now, not who you had to be in order to survive earlier chapters of your life.
I tend to be direct, engaged, and structured. I don’t believe in vague therapy that drifts without direction. At the same time, I don’t rush the process. Insight without application doesn’t create change, and action without understanding doesn’t create stability. We work toward both.
I am an integrative neuropsychotherapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal and enhance their overall wellness and quality of life. My approach is grounded in compassion, clinical insight, and a belief in supporting the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and environment. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is non‑judgmental, culturally responsive, and paced in a way that feels safe and empowering for each client.
My experience includes working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs, with a focus on anxiety and panic disorders, complex trauma, hypervigilant nervous systems, Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, and ADHD. I bring a broad foundation of service‑oriented work, including supporting individuals with autism, volunteering at a local wildlife hospital, and participating in a nonprofit that provides essential resources to people experiencing homelessness. These experiences continue to shape my holistic understanding of resilience, community, and the many forms healing can take.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck and are looking for support and clarity. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical—I’ll help you better understand your thoughts and emotions while also giving you tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment, while we work together toward meaningful change.
My journey to becoming a mental health professional started with a deep curiosity about how the mind and body work together, and a passion for holistic approaches that support emotional well-being. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of clinical settings—including outpatient mental health clinics, hospitals, and private practice—which has given me a broad perspective on mental health care. I’m committed to helping clients reach their goals in a way that feels practical, sustainable, and aligned with their overall health and personal growth.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, women, and families through life’s challenges, I am genuinely excited to offer a therapy space where you can feel safe, supported, and free to be yourself. Our work together will promote healing and growth while also making room for honesty, creativity, laughter, and learning to give ourselves a little more grace along the way.
With specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and creative expressive arts, I help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, negative thoughts, and behavioral patterns may be impacting how they feel and live today. From there, we work together to build practical coping skills and create healthier patterns that support the life you want to live.
My style is warm, real, strengths-based, and interactive. Building a strong therapeutic relationship matters to me, and I take time to truly get to know my clients beyond their symptoms or diagnosis. You can expect me to listen, ask questions, teach, encourage, offer perspective, and sometimes challenge you with compassion. I believe in noticing the small wins and creating a space where there is no shame in being a work in progress.
My professional journey has included behavioral health, child welfare, crisis services, leadership, and clinical practice. I’m also a University of Maryland graduate, DMV native, and mother of two. Both my professional and personal experiences shape the compassion and practicality I bring to therapy.
My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling heard and grounded, while also gaining greater insight and practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. Therapy is a partnership, but ultimately, I want to help you develop skills, confidence, and compassion for yourself that you can carry forward into your everyday life.

Are you feeling depressed and anxious? Are you finding your life is in turmoil because you have to make a change? Maybe you are changing careers or jobs, you’re recently divorced, your home is now an empty nest, or you are retiring. These are only a few of life’s transitions that can bring on depression and anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the therapy I use most often, states that A (Antecedent action or event) + B (our belief about that antecedent action or event) = Consequences, (depression or happiness). If you think of a transition or event (A) as a negative experience (B), you will experience the consequences of your belief, as depression and anxiety (C-negative) or as happiness and excitement (C-positive).
Unfortunately, many of us view a transition or change as a bad thing, a time when we are facing the unknown without a map. I would like to help you see change as an opportunity, a time for growth and exploration. Come with me. Together we can make change a positive force for a bright future.
please schedule appoints only on the hour.😀
