I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to explore the barriers that interfere with living the life they desire. My goal is to foster a comfortable and affirming environment, particularly for individuals from oppressed and marginalized communities. Having access to support, self-awareness, and effective coping skills is essential for managing life’s stressors. I also believe in the importance of processing past experiences and exploring how they shape our current worldview and relationships.

There are countless methods for healing & moving forward. I provide a judgement free place to find your way & figure it out. Commitment to my clients begins with a belief in the ability of individuals to advocate for themselves & choose their own path. You decide how you want to live your life. Our instincts, emotions & feelings are a gift; they are the natural barometer for navigating our lives. Often we misinterpret or fear those emotions & fall into a holding pattern as to how to move forward. We all get stuck. Let me help you move forward. The best work is done when we are honest and open about who we are, and where we want to be. Counseling is guided through your ideals & values. This is your time. My experience is rooted in the mind + body connect. Scientific research continues to prove more about the brain and body connection than we have ever known, Come along and let me teach you. Working through & assimilating the somatic experience of life, freeing ourselves from trauma & bumps in the road.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with nine years of experience, and I am deeply passionate about the work I do. Many clients return to me when they decide to re-engage with therapy, which speaks to the trust and connection we previously established. Hi there! My name is Shante and I‘m happy you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from the Bay Area and have resided in Las Vegas for 10+ years. My background includes working in trauma-informed care, community mental health, and with Veterans experiencing complex life challenges. These experiences have deepened my belief that healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe enough to be honest. I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, collaborative, and human, while providing a supportive space for women navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is rooted in CBT and mindfulness-informed practices, helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping tools and greater self-awareness. Outside of therapy, I enjoy pottery, mindfulness practices, and finding small ways to slow down and stay present throughout the day. I believe healing often happens in the little moments where we learn to reconnect with ourselves with more compassion and intention. -Shante

After more than 25 years in behavioral health and human services, I continue to be inspired by partnering with adults as they navigate life’s transitions. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have experience in acute and forensic psychiatry, behavioral health quality improvement, veteran services, and community-based care. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and the belief that meaningful change begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, caregiver stress, or a significant life transition, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. I recognize that healing doesn’t always fit neatly into a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. I intentionally offer morning and evening telehealth appointments to support adults with a variety of work schedules, including overnight shift workers seeking support during daytime hours and professionals who prefer evening appointments after the workday. I believe therapy should fit into your life—not require you to rearrange your life to receive support. I provide outpatient psychotherapy for adults and work collaboratively with clients who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process. While I provide outpatient psychotherapy, I do not provide crisis stabilization or intensive outpatient services.

I greet every client with the belief that we are born into this world with the capacity for living unique and healthy lives. I believe that it is the stressors of challenging individual experiences, pain and illnesses, trauma, and attachment injuries that move us off our centers and cause symptoms of depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional defensive behaviors. My goal is to create a setting where my client feels safe and supported, and therefore able to re-examine the patterns that form our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, as a collaboration, we can take the fascinating journey and reach for full potential, coherence, and health

Therapy can be intimidating to many people. I don't believe in having a "diagnosis" in order to justify therapy... there are benefits to even the most mentally strong. Much like cars need a tune up, people need to often make mental health a priority! Whether it be a major life change, difficulty in relationships, or feeling like something is missing... I am here to listen, help, and support you through your journey. With experience in helping small children to the young at heart, I tailor my work to meet each client's individual needs. Welcome! Therapy is an invitation for healing and change, so congratulate yourself for taking this step toward transformation in your life. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective—integrating emotional, physical, and cognitive aspects of well-being. I specialize in treating various traumas, including childhood trauma, abuse, loss, and PTSD. I specialize in the treatment of stress, anxiety and depression. Hey, I’m Amber. I’m so glad you’re here! I know sometimes it can be pretty scary searching for a therapist who helps you feel known and understood. That is the kind of therapist I strive to be. Let me share a little about myself. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 11 years now. I worked in community mental health for 10 1/2 of those years before deciding to branch into my own private practice. I am now licensed in Illinois and Missouri. I grew up in a very conservative and religious family, even attending seminary, so I do know those beliefs well. It took me until I was 25 to be brave enough to live my authentic self as a gay individual, knowing it would cost me most of my family and friends. It hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. It is now my desire to be the support for you that I never had as you live your own truth and tell your own story.

Welcome! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor with more than 20 years of experience—and this work is truly my passion. As someone who came to this as a second career, I consider it an honor and privilege to walk alongside young adults and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I provide counseling for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance misuse, process addictions, anger, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My counseling style is warm, empowering, and collaborative. I believe that every person has the strength and wisdom to create meaningful change, and I strive to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow. My role as a therapist is to guide, advocate, and support you as you find your voice and build a more balanced and fulfilling life. I meet clients where they are, honoring the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. To ensure each person receives the focused care and attention they deserve, I intentionally keep a small caseload. This allows me to be fully present and responsive to each client’s unique needs. I take an integrated, person-centered approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and meditation practices, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Every treatment plan is developed collaboratively, tailored to your goals, preferences, and pace—because therapy should fit you, not the other way around. Life can be overwhelming, messy, and genuinely hard sometimes—and that’s completely okay. However, that doesn't mean it has to remain that way. For nearly a decade, I’ve supported adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles, helping them feel more grounded, confident, and connected in their lives. While working together, we’ll slow things down to truly understand what you’re going through, explore what matters most to you, and discover practical, realistic ways to move forward. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but to work with you by listening, offering options, and supporting you as you work through challenges and build a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and true to who you are. I bring warmth, compassion, and even some humor into the process, because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.

Hello, I'm Tracey. "Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst). Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses. What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other? Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.

Hello! So glad you are here! Do you get into relationships hoping that this time things will be different? Do you feel overwhelmed and have a hard time recognizing your dreams and goals? Would you like a more kind and loving relationship with yourself and the ability to extend that to others in your life? I love helping people who are ready to identify patterns that hold them back from happiness and fulfillment in both relationships and other areas of life. My name is Lisa, and I provide therapy for both addictions and mental health issues. While I have treated those with active addiction for many years, I also treat behavior patterns stemming from addictions and family dysfunction. Although these patterns started out helping us survive challenging situations, they can keep us stuck. Many therapy seekers have found that these patterns can impact their ability to recognize their needs, dreams and to create and sustain both platonic and romantic relationships. I have a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from Southern Illinois University specializing in Substance Abuse. From substance abuse counseling, I have expanded my areas of specialties to include family and relationship dynamics and how to heal "survival skills" that have evolved into self-defeating life patterns.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
