Grounded. Compassionate. Solution-focused. As both a veteran and a therapist, I offer a unique blend of lived experience and clinical expertise. I specialize in helping women heal from the lasting impacts of trauma and break free from anxiety—whether it shows up as constant worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, or specific phobias. My approach is whole-person and solution-focused, integrating mind, body, and spirit. I often weave in nature-based practices, walking or running therapy, and wellness conversations to help clients find clarity, calm, and resilience. I’ve seen how movement, connection with animals, and time outdoors can powerfully shift mood and perspective—especially when life feels overwhelming. Clinically, I draw from a strong toolkit: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Therapy to challenge fear at its core. Internal Family Systems (IFS) to deepen self-understanding and heal wounded parts. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and coping skills. Mindfulness to anchor the mind in the present moment. All grounded in a solution-focused lens so clients leave each session with clear, actionable steps forward. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up exactly as they are. My goal is for them to walk away feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools to move forward—with confidence, strength, and a renewed sense of self.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. I work to create a space where people feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported—no pressure, no judgment. In our first session, we’ll simply focus on getting to know each other. Clients can share as much or as little as they’d like, at a pace that feels comfortable. I ask thoughtful, gentle questions to understand what’s been going on and what they’re hoping to gain from therapy. Together, we create a personalized plan that feels realistic, flexible, and meaningful. I believe in building a supportive partnership where people feel empowered to face challenges and know they don’t have to carry everything on their own. If you’re a provider or community professional, know that when you refer someone to me, they’ll be met with warmth, compassion, and a collaborative approach from day one.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Supporting women in building resilience, self-compassion, and lasting emotional balance. With over nine years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults, I specialize in women’s mental health and help clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I believe change begins by understanding your unique story—your values, struggles, and strengths—and honoring what matters most to you. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood, while also encouraging growth beyond patterns that may no longer serve you. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you live more fully in alignment with your values. For clients processing trauma, I offer a gentle, trauma-informed approach, integrating Narrative Therapy, IFS-informed parts work, and somatic awareness to support healing at your own pace. I also weave in mindfulness and self-compassion practices to reduce anxiety, stress, and self-criticism. Whether you’re facing anxiety, burnout, trauma, or relationship struggles, we’ll work together to build tools, insight, and resilience so you can feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to your authentic self.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Hi there—and truly, welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here! Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially when you’ve been holding so much on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply worn down from trying to keep everything together, please know—you’re not alone. Just being here is a meaningful step toward something gentler, and I want to honor that. I work with women, veterans, adults, and teens who’ve experienced trauma or are moving through some of life’s most difficult seasons. Many of the people I support have faced deep, complex struggles—grief, loss, painful relationships, major life changes, or the invisible wounds of service. Often, they’ve had to be strong for everyone else, even when they felt anything but strong inside. If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know: there is hope, and there is help. Healing doesn’t mean having it all figured out or rushing to feel “better.” It means giving yourself permission to slow down, to be real, to breathe again. It means finding a space where you can start to come home to yourself—gently, one step at a time. In our work together, my intention is to create that kind of space. A soft, steady place where you can bring whatever you’re holding—without shame, without pressure. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, identity shifts, or relationship pain, we’ll move at your pace, honoring your rhythm and your readiness. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. I draw from evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and interpersonal therapy, and I also invite in holistic practices—like movement, nature, and body awareness—when they feel nourishing for you. Healing is more than talking; it’s about tending to the whole of who you are: mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly, I want you to know—you are not broken. You don’t need fixing. You are human, and worthy, exactly as you are. Together, we’ll gently uncover your resilience, reconnect with your inner truth, and explore what it means to live in a way that feels more peaceful, empowered, and real. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here—ready to walk alongside you, with care, warmth, and respect every step of the way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a supportive and collaborative approach that helps you navigate life’s challenges by gently exploring and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT is a practical, empowering method that focuses on building real-life strategies you can use every day—both in and outside of therapy. Together, we’ll work to understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, so you can feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With over five years of experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I specialize in helping people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle in relationships, or just want better tools to handle life’s ups and downs. DBT is a powerful blend of acceptance and change, and in our work together, I’ll offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and empowered. You’ll learn practical, everyday skills to help you manage stress, communicate more effectively, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

Trauma-Focused CBT

offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a gentle, evidence-based approach that supports children, teens, and their caregivers in healing from the effects of trauma. TF-CBT provides a safe and nurturing space where young people can begin to process what they’ve been through, better understand their emotions, and learn healthy, effective ways to cope. This approach combines practical tools from cognitive behavioral therapy with gradual, supportive steps to reduce symptoms like anxiety, sadness, fear, and behavioral challenges. I work closely with both children and their caregivers—because healing happens best together—to help foster resilience, emotional growth, and lasting well-being.

Strength-Based

I offer Strength-Based Therapy, a supportive and empowering approach that focuses on what makes you strong, not just what’s been difficult. Together, we’ll explore your resilience, your inner resources, and the ways you’ve already grown through life’s challenges—often more than you realize. Instead of focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll look at what’s right and build from there. This kind of therapy helps you reconnect with your sense of identity, confidence, and purpose, offering a fresh and hopeful path toward healing and lasting change.
