Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adults break through emotional impasses and reclaim a sense of balance and vitality in their lives. My practice blends the practical, goal-oriented tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with deep, brain-body healing modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, and clinical hypnosis. I specialize in collaborating with individuals navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and major life transitions, providing a safe and nurturing space to process deep-rooted distress. Together, we will work to release what is holding you back, build lasting resilience, and foster a compassionate, adaptive path forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, our main priority is to build a safe, comfortable connection and ensure you feel heard and understood. We will take a collaborative look at what brings you to therapy, explore your current goals, and discuss what hasn't worked for you in the past. There is no pressure to dive into deep trauma right away; instead, we will focus on establishing a gentle foundation. By the end of our time together, we will outline a personalized roadmap for your healing journey, discussing how we might integrate practical tools and specialized brain-body modalities to help you achieve lasting relief.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the intentional integration of both 'top-down' cognitive tools and 'bottom-up' brain-body modalities. While traditional talk therapy is valuable, it can sometimes hit a clinical impasse when trauma, chronic stress, or anxiety become deeply rooted in the nervous system. By combining the practical, actionable strategies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with neuro-somatic methods like EMDR, Brainspotting, and clinical hypnosis, I am able to help clients process distress at both a mindset and a physiological level. This dual approach allows us to not only develop tangible daily coping mechanisms but also achieve accelerated, lasting relief from the somatic tension and stuck emotional patterns that conscious conversation alone cannot always reach.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who feel 'stuck' in their healing journey and are ready to move beyond traditional talk therapy to achieve profound, lasting change. My ideal clients are often navigating the lingering impacts of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or major life transitions, and they may notice these challenges showing up as physical tension, emotional overwhelm, or repetitive mental loops. Whether you are a deeply reflective individual looking to resolve rooted emotional distress through brain-body modalities, or someone seeking practical, actionable tools to reclaim a sense of control and daily balance, I offer a safe, collaborative space. Together, we will work toward goals of breaking through old impasses, building deep resilience, and fostering an authentic, adaptive sense of self.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

As a certified practitioner, I use brainspotting to help clients process and release deeply rooted trauma, emotional distress, and somatic tension that traditional talk therapy might not fully reach. By identifying specific eye positions—or 'brainspots'—linked to a client's internal experience, I guide them in accessing the brain's natural self-regulatory capacity. In my practice, I seamlessly integrate this brain-body modality with traditional therapeutic approaches to facilitate profound, accelerated healing and help clients move through clinical impasses in a safe, supportive environment.

EMDR

I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients effectively process and heal from traumatic memories, anxiety, and distressing life events. By utilizing bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, taps, or tones—I assist the brain in re-filing painful memories so they lose their emotional charge. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients break free from stuck cognitive patterns, reduce somatic distress, and foster a adaptive, resilient sense of self-belief.

Hypnotherapy

I utilize clinical hypnosis as a powerful tool to help clients bypass conscious barriers and access their subconscious mind’s innate strengths and resources. By guiding clients into a deeply relaxed, focused state of awareness, we can work together to reframe negative patterns, manage chronic stress or pain, and accelerate personal growth. This gentle, collaborative approach empowers clients to create lasting, positive shifts in both mindset and physiological well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and reframe the interconnected relationships between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying automatic, unhelpful thinking patterns, I collaborate with clients to develop practical, actionable coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, and daily stressors. My goal is to equip clients with tangible tools they can confidently use outside of our sessions to regain a sense of control and balance in their lives.
