My approach is empathetic and client-centered, ensuring that clients feel heard and understood from the very beginning.
Let’s Talk Therapy! My name is Bre Auna Thomas. As your therapist I am able to help clients gain awareness of unhelpful thought patterns and self defeating beliefs to alleviate their mental health symptoms. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker {LCSW} in two states Nevada and Georgia. My passion is helping clients gain awareness of unhelpful thought patterns and teaching clients the skills and techniques to emotionally regulate, achieve mental stability, and self soothe themselves ultimately alleviating their mental health symptoms.
My educational background includes a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California {USC}. I also have a dual Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Sociology with a minor in Pre-Law.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. I have been working in the behavioral health field for 10 years but have 7 years of post-graduate (MSW) experience. I have worked with children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. Primarily, my work has been with adults of all ages experiencing issues with addiction and co-occurring disorders including anxiety, PTSD and mood disorders. I have also worked in the crisis setting during which I helped clients through some of their most vulnerable moments.
Hi, I am Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia with 20 years of experience. I enjoy working with individuals become their best person. I believe self-care and self-love is so important. I don't want to see you just survive I would like to see you thrive. Seeking out therapy can be scary and confusing at first, I am here to help make that decision less cumbersome.
I would like to describe myself as a guy who likes to collaborate with clients to reach their goals and help guide them to overcome barriers that are stopping them to achieve them. I currently work at a Crisis Center for the state of Georgia trying to help people repair their lives. I'm also accepting clients in Texas as well. Through out my career as a social worker, I've dealt with at risk youths, inmates, and substance abuse, and homeless population. I've come to realize that a lot of people have one thing in common, they all would like to be treated with respect and allow them to have their autonomy. My great listening and problem solving skills with my clients help them to come to solutions to their own problems. That's what a lot of my clients can expect is a person who ask open-ended questions to help them consider things that they normally haven't and challenge their thoughts or desires versus their actions in life.
I have 25 years of experience working with all age groups, couples, family, adolescents, elderly and all races where I utilize CBT as a base and add other modalities as needed. I believe each person is an individual that cannot be put into a 'fits all' box. I believe a commitment with patience over time can lead to significant growth and understanding of oneself. Mindfulness, Carl Jung's Shadow Work as well as Negative Core Beliefs can lead to changes that offer a completely new way of living and thriving. I also have experience with the LGBT+ community. A therapist in my experience adds a level of effectiveness having done therapy ourselves and I have put a lot of time and effort on the other side of the therapeutic relationship. It has allowed me a strong level of empathy and understanding of what clients go through when in therapy. Substance Abuse is an area I also have experience with.
I provide individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, and workshops to women and their partners dealing with life transitions, career changes, self-esteem, parenting issues and life after breakups. Together we will address the mind body connection as we work towards healing so you can build your best self. I support people using a holistic and solution-focused approach. I support my clients using a Mind/Body perspective.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Master of Addiction Counselor. I am trained in EMDR Level I. I help those with anxiety and depression, substance abuse problems, relationship issues, work-related problems, and those who have difficulty coping with daily stressors. I provide life and sober coaching for those in recovery. Sober coaching requires clients to be in recovery without the use of substances for at least 30 days.
I want to assist individuals ages 5 to 99+, on their chosen paths to living a healthy, mentally stable lifestyle by creating a safe, compassionate, and caring environment where individuals are free to be themselves, where they are comfortable in their skins, where they can identify their strengths, identify their goals, and pursue those goals on their timeline. I also want to strive to assist individuals so that they are able to be within their family and define their norms while achieving that vision while developing positive self-esteem, healthy coping skills, and appropriate boundaries.

All 1 Family provides low-cost counseling services, including individual, family, group, and couples therapy. The clinicians—many of whom identify as LGBTQ+ or allies of color—bring lived experience and deep empathy to their work.
Founder’s Statement
“While working across inpatient and community-based mental health settings—providing crisis intervention, assessments, and psychotherapy—I noticed a troubling pattern: many LGBTQ+ individuals were seeking support but struggled to find providers who were affirming, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. This gap often led individuals to delay or forgo much-needed care. All 1 Family was born from the belief that everyone deserves a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported.”
