I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with experience helping individuals reconnect with themselves and create more intentional, balanced lives. I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, whether that’s in relationships, life transitions, or their own internal dialogue. Many clients enter into therapy feeling uncertain, disconnected, or weighed down by stress, anxiety, or unresolved experiences. Through our work together, clients begin to feel more grounded, more clear, and more in control of their lives. They learn how to set boundaries without guilt, manage their emotions with confidence, and show up in their relationships in a way that feels more authentic and aligned. My clients often leave therapy with a stronger sense of self, a deeper understanding of their needs, and the ability to move through life with greater peace, clarity, and intention.
Yes, your first session is structured, but it won’t feel rigid or overwhelming. While I’ll guide you through an intake and assessment process, my primary focus is helping you feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. Rather than diving straight into deeply personal interview style questions. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I prioritize building a genuine connection first, so you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning. Think of it as a conversation with purpose: a space where we begin to understand your needs while also creating a foundation of trust for the work ahead.
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and solution-focused. I don’t just listen. I help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and work with you to create meaningful change. I’m especially skilled at helping clients: Recognize and shift unhelpful patterns Strengthen self-awareness and emotional clarity Establish and maintain healthy boundaries Build practical tools for managing stress and life transitions I believe therapy should feel both supportive and productive. I am best positioned to serve adults, couples, and older adults who are ready to engage in meaningful personal growth and healing. My clients are often dealing with stress, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions and are looking for support in gaining clarity, improving emotional balance, and making intentional changes. I provide a supportive space to explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward more fulfilling relationships and overall well-being.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I use CPT to help clients process stuck points, challenge trauma-related beliefs, and reduce symptoms related to PTSD.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I tend to work from an integrative perspective, using CBT as a foundation while adjusting my approach based on each client’s needs.
Interpersonal
I use IPT to help clients identify patterns in their relationships, improve communication, and address interpersonal difficulties that may be contributing to emotional distress. I also support clients in navigating role transitions, processing unresolved grief, and strengthening social supports.
