Tara Sanders is a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and has been in the mental health field for 20 + yrs. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University and earned her Master’s of Science degree from Abilene Christian University. She has a wide range of career experience that allows her to adapt to the varied needs of her clients. Her diverse experience was derived from working in an all-male maximum-security prison, her position as a school counselor to provide counseling services to children in need of temporary, situational, and/or ongoing emotional challenges, her years acting as a mobile crisis assessor, and her role as supervisor for a state-wide crisis hotline. Additionally, she worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for 10 years overseas in Europe (German and Italy) and stateside.
Tara believes that individuals who are entering counseling should feel comfortable and safe which is why she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that highlights channeling negative thoughts into positive ones. She believes that stressors in one’s life can feel unmanageable, but she helps her clients to maximize their resiliency and come to view the challenge as a bump in the road --a bump that can be moved past into a successful healthier path. Her goal is for all her patients to become open to gaining new perspectives and be willing to explore family dynamics and upbringings that have developed them into the persons they are today. Tara works with her clients to assist them with changing any self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
She truly believes that caring for yourself and your relationships are the most important task that you will ever have.

Many of my clients have experienced difficult or painful life events and are seeking a space where they can feel understood, supported, and free from judgment.
My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to each individual. I will meet you where you are, at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we will work to make sense of your experiences, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical ways to help you feel more stable, more in control, and more like yourself again.
I bring both professional training and real-life perspective to my work, allowing me to connect with clients in a genuine and down-to-earth way. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes—it’s about meaningful, lasting change and having someone alongside you who understands how difficult things can feel.
Reaching out for therapy is a big step, and I aim to make the process as supportive and straightforward as possible from the beginning. An initial conversation can help determine whether working together feels like the right fit, provide a sense of what the process might look like, and address any questions you may have. I would welcome the opportunity to connect.
I help people who are navigating depression, anxiety, and big life transitions find their footing again. In our work together, we'll look closely at the thoughts and patterns that tend to keep you stuck and build practical tools you can use between sessions. My approach blends practical, goal-focused strategies with a strengths-based lens, meaning we'll spend as much time noticing what's already working for you as we do address what feels hard right now. I bring a warm, non-judgmental presence to every session, and I believe healing happens fastest when you feel genuinely seen and supported.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been counseling clients dealing with a variety of mental, emotional, and relational issues for a number of years. I have counseled adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. I decided to pursue a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy because I realized the impact that our families, and society as well, have on our mental and emotional development. The impact is both positive and negative and may manifest as depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, a lack of a sense of self and other mental and emotional disorders.
In counseling, I help clients explore those influences and the impact on their life. My specialties then center around helping clients gain insight into those influences, become more empowered, develop a stronger sense of self, and take steps to become who they really are; thereby addressing mental and emotional health issues.
It's important to note that many times, experiences unfortunately include trauma and loss. It may be childhood or other trauma. Identifying, acknowledging and processing trauma and loss is therefore often a part of the process of becoming more empowered and developing that strong sense of self described above.
.

I have extensive experience working with veterans, adults, and adolescents, supporting individuals facing substance use concerns, behavioral challenges, and a range of mental health conditions. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with a focus on helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
Hello there, I am Willie.
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I do help high performers manage and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what’s not working and get you back to balance. We’ll use a whole self-help approach addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, and cognitive behavioral therapy, helping you to develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you’re dealing with overwhelming relationship issues or cycles of anxiety. Depression and/ or psychoactive drug use: I’m here to help. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I’ll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. Let us work together.
