New to Grow
I have been counseling over 20+ years. My background is quite varied, which I think helps me connect with people from all walks of life. I worked in private practice supporting lawyers, nurses, teachers, and kids. I understand the unique weight of professional burnout and secondary trauma. I spent significant time working in high-intensity environments- correctional and juvenile facilities as well as residential substances abuse programs. My 20+ years of experience has taught me to adapt my tools to the person in front of me.
Our first session is really a getting to know you meeting. We will discuss confidentially but mostly on your story regarding what you desire to alter or change. I will ask some questions about your background to get a full picture and together we develop initial treatment plan.
