Hello! Thanks for viewing my bio. Here's a brief overview. I'm Christine, and I have my Licensed Professional Counselor In both GA and IL. I do have over 20+ years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, bipolar d/o, depression, many mental health diagnosis, grief, PTSD, parenting, relationship issues, postpartum concerns, divorce, couples/family (if needed), self-esteem, and trauma. I do work with those who struggle with addiction, eating disorders, and family therapy, if needed. My goal in therapy is to help you identify your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, triggers, and past traumas so you can move forward with a clearer understanding of yourself and your experiences. I aim to provide the best therapy I can based upon your needs an providing an uplifting environment so that I can guide you to be foster your authentic self, gain insight regarding yourself and others, practice new skills and build self confidence. I enjoy working with individuals as well as couples, families if needed. I am here to work with you and aid you during this difficult time in your life. My telehealth sessions offer the flexibility to connect with you when you need it most, providing the convenience of accessing care from the comfort of your own space. I utilize a mixture of techniques such a cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused based therapy while keeping your needs in mind.
I have many years of experience not just in therapy but in life. I offer support to each client regardless of the situation. I am here for you and your journey. I tailor each therapeutic approach to each client and if one does not work, I am happy to find one that does.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
While I utilize multiple treatment methods based upon the needs of the client, I tend to use CBT more often than not. It helps you see that we can see things more positively versus negatively.
