My name is Florence, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 27 years of extensive experience in the field. Employing an integrative approach in my practice affords me the versatility to employ a spectrum of evidence-based interventions tailored to suit the individual needs of my clients. Moreover, I operate from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perspective. I have worked with a variety of populations across the lifespan. From conducting outreach to marginalized individuals within the confines of the New York City subway system to comforting clients and families in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, I aim to be compassionate, understanding, non-judgmental and culturally competent.
Specializing in addressing the mental health needs of both youth and adults, I am adept at navigating various challenges such as life transitions, academic concerns, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and trauma.
