I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist, in which both work together in establishing realistic and self enhancing therapeutic goals. I am passionate about helping individuals so they may achieve their personal wellness goals. I provide a welcoming environment in which the client will feel comfortable to share of themselves. My goal is not simply to just listen to the person’s story , but to improve the person’s current condition.
My therapeutic approach is an integrative one founded on evidence-based practices that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) Solution-focused brief therapy, Horticulture therapy, Wellness and mindfulness. These therapeutic practices have been researched extensively and they have been found to be effective in helping clients achieve their personal goals.
I am passionate about working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and adjustment disorders, and Women’s issues, family and relationship issues to achieve wellness.
