I have dedicated my professional life to serving others. I am a Doctor of Social Work and a scholar-practitioner with three social work degrees. I am an LCSW Florida State and an LMSW in New York State. I provide mental health services to adults and adolescent children. My greatest strength is helping people move beyond being stuck, feeling vulnerable and invisible to society.
People should know that I have lived experiences. I empathize with people who are stuck in trauma. I work very well with seniors who feel lonely and isolated. People with severe mental health disorders do very well when I follow them from hospitalization to home.
My greatest strengths are empathy and communication. Life does not happen without challenges, but through talk therapy and resilience, strength and grit emerge.
Clinically, I am a humanistic therapist. I apply an eclectic approach to support clients, often drawing heavily on Person-Centered Theory. I am a Trauma-Informed clinician promoting a safety, empowerment, and healing culture. I am proud to work with the LGBTQ+ population and veterans. Through empowerment, clients find a connection with me.
