Hi I'm Shaneka ! I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist dedicated to helping clients find healing, balance, and renewed purpose.
I specialize in working with Black women, single mothers, and survivors of domestic violence and trauma who are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional demands of caring for others while often putting themselves last. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed, creating a safe space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported.
Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques, I help clients develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, heal from past experiences, and move toward the life they desire.
I believe healing is a journey, and you do not have to walk it alone. My goal is to empower clients to rediscover their strengths, cultivate resilience, and experience meaningful and lasting change.
Hi! I'm Angelica. If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unsure about the future, let's talk. I help women and men learn how to be comfortable in their own skin so that anxiety does not dictate their success. Together, we can begin to identify the causes of your anxiety and work on overcoming them.
If you are dealing with relationship issues, work issues, major life changes or feelings that nothing will ever change or improve, I'd like to help you to start feeling better. While meeting with me, you will have a non judgmental space to talk about what you are thinking and feeling. I approach the therapy process with empathy, cognitive behavioral techniques and solutions. I look forward to getting to know you!
I began my work in the field in 2007 and have been fully licensed since 2017. I consider myself to be an exceptionally empathetic and caring counselor who meets my clients where they're at. I will push my clients to experience emotions and to sit with them in ways they haven't before. However, I do this in a safe manner where we simply expand the limits each time and create safety in each session to fully allow the client to embrace the process. I strive to help my clients make sense of their life and the experiences they've had. I have great respect for each individual's journey and understand there is value in all of us. I strive for all of my clients to feel seen, heard, respected, accepted, and not judged. From the very first session, my clients feel heard through my exceptional empathic listening skills. I ask evocative questions to get to the heart of the matter and to push the client to think more in depth and perhaps even with a different perspective about struggles or experiences that have caused them strife.

Hi, I’m Stephanie—a therapist who helps overwhelmed parents of young children (ages 6 and under) feel calmer, more connected, and more confident in how they show up.
If you’re navigating the sleep-deprived, overstimulating, “why is my child melting down again?” years (been there!), or moving through a major life change and worried about how it’s impacting your child, you’re in the right place.
I specialize in the emotional side of early parenthood—helping parents understand both their child’s behavior and their own patterns, triggers, and emotional responses through a developmental, relationship-based lens. Many of the parents I work with come in feeling stretched thin—burnt out, reactive, guilty, overstimulated, or stuck in patterns they swore they’d break. If you’re feeling this way, you’re not alone—and it makes sense given how much you’re carrying. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, less reactive in hard moments, and more confident in how you respond to your child.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I moved to Florida from Nashville but have roots in Mississippi and Virginia. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in April of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. I used that degree to enroll at Capella University where I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in March of 2021. My passion for counseling started when I was very young. In my teenage years I participated in groups that worked to prevent teen suicide. This interest eventually worked its way into my adult life as a career in the mental health field.
My first position after graduating with my Masters was assisting individuals whose substance abuse lead to involvement in the criminal justice system. Building on that, I also have experience with Veterans' issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, relationships, depression, anxiety, social fears and many other mental health diagnoses.
I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach to an individual’s mental health. I use a wide range of techniques to best help my clients to achieve the goals they set forth during their time in treatment by developing strategies and coping skills to achieve optimal mental health.
Welcome! I’ve been working with individuals, couples and families pursuing counseling for more than over 19 years. My experience has centered around assisting adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting and adapting to the changes they are experiencing in life, grief and trauma.
The philosophical foundation of my therapy is based on the understanding that what we think influences how we feel which impacts how we behave. Therefore, to change any behavior or feeling we first need to address our thinking. My goal in the counseling process is to assist you in improving the quality of your life by guiding you in how to manage, resolve, and/or reconcile those issues in your life creating difficulty for you.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with extensive experience working with adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Throughout my career, I have worked in outpatient, residential, and community-based settings, helping individuals navigate some of life's most difficult experiences while rediscovering their strengths and sense of purpose.
In addition to my clinical experience, I am a United States Air Force veteran and former first responder. These experiences have given me firsthand insight into the unique challenges associated with high-stress professions, trauma exposure, operational demands, transition struggles, and the pressure of carrying significant responsibility while managing your own well-being. As a result, I have a particular passion for working with veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others whose careers require them to care for others while often neglecting themselves.

Hi there, I'm Angelica, and I would like to start by congratulating you on choosing the journey to heal.
The decision to face our challenges, heal and grow is a hard one but by far the most rewarding. My mission is to actively work towards changing the world for the better, one interaction at a time. For me, it is important to treat everyone with respect and compassion.
I have years of experience working with diverse populations experiencing a wide range of concerns including; depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, physical and emotional abuse, active hallucinations & delusions. I have worked with adults & children in school settings, hospitals, jails, and juvenile detention centers, and those in the LGBTQ community. My therapy style is non-judgmental, welcoming, warm & interactive. I believe in creating an environment where individuals feel important, listened to, empowered, and can heal through vulnerability
Feel proud of yourself for choosing to heal, and I am grateful to help you through this journey!
