Hi! I am a heterosexual cisgender woman, and my husband and I have a high school aged son. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I have lived in Florida for 35 years and I consider it my home.
I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to and that they feel better after the first session. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. Your session with me is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. I have had clients say things about their life or people in their lives that would not be acceptable in most settings, and being able to talk about it is often very freeing.

I didn’t become a therapist because I believed life should be perfect—I became a therapist because I know how complex, messy, and deeply human life can be.
Over the years, I’ve sat with many people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationship struggles, and the quiet pressure to “hold it all together.” My goal in therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to do that alone. A space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying.
My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I often work with adults who feel stretched between responsibilities, expectations, and their own emotional needs. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting women and mothers as they move through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the many emotional layers of parenthood.
In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while also focusing on practical tools that help regulate the nervous system and create meaningful change in everyday life. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work together to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and help you move toward the life you want to build.
I founded my practice with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, supportive, and human. A place where both clients and clinicians can feel safe to grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Outside of my work, I value time with my family, creativity, and designing environments that feel calm, comforting, and restorative—because I believe the spaces we create, both internally and externally, play an important role in healing.

I have two Master of Arts degrees from Kutztown University - one in Counseling Psychology (obtained in 1995) and the other in School Counseling (obtained in 2004). I started in mental health therapy in 1995, moved into substance abuse counseling for several years, then to school counseling while I raised my son for 18 yrs, and now have returned to mental health/substance use counseling as that is my passion. Everyone in life (including therapists at times) need someone to talk to in order to help resolve problems, manage stress, process trauma or enhance coping skills. I believe in looking at what you want to accomplish as the goal of therapy and then working on skills to achieve that goal. I utilize trauma stabilization and reprocessing strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques as well as person-centered and solution focused techniques. I believe everyone has the tools inside them to achieve their goals; it is just about unlocking them and utilizing them.
I have worked extensively with trauma survivors in addition to clients dealing with depression, anxiety, eating and substance use disorders. I have worked with the LGTBQ+ community. I enjoy working with all clients but prefer working with those ages 8 and older. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling.
I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever’s on your mind. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration. I’m here to walk alongside you, not to tell you what to do. I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their experiences, and helping them build insight and resilience at their own pace. Whether you're navigating a tough moment or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you with compassion and care.
Hi, I'm Kendall. If your mind won't stop racing, you keep landing in the same patterns, or you've lost sight of who you are, you're in the right place. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and I work with adults across Florida by video. My sessions are relaxed and down to earth, and you'll leave each one with something practical to try that week.
