LCSW, 2 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with four years of experience in the mental health field. My approach is client-centered, with a strong foundation in Motivational Interviewing to support clients in identifying and achieving their personal goals. I focus on building resilience by collaboratively developing effective coping strategies and empowering clients with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. **Some additional time slots not listed on calendar may be available upon request**
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you feel would be the most important outcomes to work toward in the therapeutic process.
I have experience working with clients who have complex medical histories connected to chronic illnesses, and I understand how physical health can deeply impact emotional well-being. Many of the individuals I support are managing significant anxiety and depression, often feeling unsure about the next steps in their mental health journey. I am passionate about helping people find their voice and providing a safe, supportive space to explore the challenges they've faced and work toward meaningful, goal-oriented progress.
I work primarily with adults who are seeking to collaboratively shift their perspectives through therapy. Together, we focus on identifying meaningful goals and addressing challenging life events by developing the foundational tools needed to build resilience and promote lasting personal growth.
We use motivational interviewing to help identify your goals for care and how to attain your goals
We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as a kind of therapy that helps us look at the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
When we do psychoeducation, my goal is to give you information that helps things make more sense. For example, we might talk about how anxiety affects your nervous system, how depression can change your thoughts and energy, or how trauma impacts your body’s stress response.
Person-Centered Therapy is an approach to counseling that’s really focused on you. It focuses on your experiences, your feelings, and your ability to grow and heal. The idea is that you already have the inner resources you need to make positive changes in your life. My role isn’t to tell you what to do or to ‘fix’ you, but to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on and find your own answers.
