Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a certified Trauma-Informed Care therapist with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and am currently pursuing my doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across community and private practice settings, supporting clients navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, addiction, anger management, and self-esteem concerns. My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, balanced with honest feedback and accountability. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, empowered, and safe to speak openly about what is—and isn’t—working. My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and psychoeducational approaches. Some sessions call for deep reflection, while others benefit from practical tools and strategies—and I tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. When appropriate, I also believe humor can be a meaningful and healing part of the therapeutic process. Seeking help takes courage. My goal is to walk alongside you, help strengthen what is already working in your life, and support you in creating meaningful and lasting change. I look forward to working with you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a welcoming space to be heard, understood, and supported. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this process moves at your pace. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and important relationships, so we can look at the bigger picture, not just the immediate concern. We’ll also review confidentiality and discuss what working together can look like. Above all, the first session is about creating safety, connection, and clarity. You don’t need to have the “right words.” My role is to walk alongside you, help make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin identifying next steps that feel supportive and aligned with your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to see the full context of a person’s story—not just the problem they are facing. I work from a trauma-informed, systemic approach that helps clients understand patterns, family dynamics, and experiences that continue to shape their present lives. I create a space that feels safe, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to move at their own pace while still working toward meaningful change. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard, supported, and challenged in ways that lead to greater clarity, emotional resilience, and lasting growth. My approach blends insight with practical strategies, helping clients not only understand themselves better but also apply what they learn in everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are ready to better understand themselves and their patterns. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the weight of family expectations and past experiences. You may be someone who is reflective, open to growth, and looking for more than quick fixes—seeking clarity, healing, and meaningful change. Whether you are working through anxiety, grief, identity concerns, or complex family dynamics, therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we focus on building insight, emotional strength, and practical tools that align with your goals and values.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Brief Therapy is a short-term, goal-focused therapeutic approach that aims to create meaningful change in a limited number of sessions. It emphasizes solutions rather than dwelling on problems, helping clients identify their strengths, resources, and past successes. Clients will experience a structured and collaborative process where the therapist helps them set clear, achievable goals and develop strategies to resolve their concerns efficiently. Sessions are typically directive, focusing on present issues rather than extensive exploration of the past. Clients may leave therapy with practical tools and techniques that empower them to create lasting change in their lives.

Mrs. Campbell was nice! It was our first session and the conversation started out a little slow but that's because I was slightly nervous. I'm looking forward to more sessions with her and a great outcome.
