How would you describe your relationship with yourself? Whether it is because of painful and difficult moments or relationships, behaviors that feel like they are out of your control, traumas that you've experienced, over time you have probably recorded some tapes that you play in your head that keep you feeling stuck. I believe that every person has the ability to change these tapes and improve their relationships with themselves. My goal is to be a compassionate and collaborative resource to improve that relationship with yourself, create an awareness of your strengths, and help you develop the skills needed to fulfill your goals.
I have years of experience working with people changing their thought patterns and increasing their confidence. My specialties include body positivity/neutrality, addiction, and trauma, but I also have experience working with co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, life transitions, men's issues, ADHD, and many others.

Hi, I am a licensed mental health counselor who focuses on identity transformation! I work with those who feel the achievements are there, yet still feels misaligned in what you do versus who you truly are. This identity crisis shows up in subtle ways - the anxiety that greets you before meetings, the exhaustion from maintaining the "strong Black woman" image, the longing for relationships where you can finally be real.
I want you to know that transformation is possible. That having more alignment and authenticity in the way you show up is possible. In our work together, we'll move beyond just understanding why you code-switch or people-please and help your system find its way back to your truth using Internal Family Systems therapy.
Imagine walking into any room fully grounded in who you are. Picture making decisions from your core self, not from old wounds. It's time to transform your relationship with yourself - to heal those outdated identities and create a life that truly feels like yours.

Hi, I’m Yanique, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida.
I help adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck reconnect with themselves and find peace in the middle of life’s chaos. Whether you’re navigating stress at work, relationship struggles, or the weight of depression or ADHD, therapy with me is about helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change. With over 6 years of experience and a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, I’ve worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds from children to older adults dealing with mood disorders, addiction, and major life transitions. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and informed by your lived experience. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, build coping tools that actually fit your lifestyle, and help you rediscover a sense of balance and confidence in yourself.
Let’s take the next step therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have an extensive background in working with mental health and addictions. I approach therapy from an individualist, holistic, and integrative lens. I strive to provide a safe and confidential environment to assist in the counseling process. I help clients transform into a more authentic, healthy, and balanced version of themselves.
If you are struggling, I’d like to offer a safe space where honesty and authenticity are values and encouraged. You don't need to waste time worrying about stigmas or perceptions, because seeing a therapist doesn't mean that anything is inherently wrong with you or that you don't have the capacity to solve your own problems. Family and friends can be incredible sources of support, but they often can feel compelled to "fix" the problems we discuss with them which can lead to us not wanting to burden them and, in turn, just holding on to things. I can offer an objective take, totally free from any judgment or expectations. Let's talk!

In addition, I provided education on post partum depression and child care. In 2021 I began teaching classes as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Central Florida's College of Health Professions and Sciences. I have also worked for the National Suicide Prevention Line where I learned how to deal with a variety of mental health and emotional crisis situations over the phone. Hi, I’m Anakarla.
If you’ve been feeling anxious, stuck, hard on yourself, or unsure of who you’re becoming, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to sort it out by yourself. Many of the people I work with are used to “holding it together” on the outside, while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or questioning their direction on the inside.
I’m a Latina therapist who believes therapy should feel warm, supportive, and rooted in real connection, not clinical or distant. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, which means we move at your pace and work together as a team. I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of your experiences, gently challenge what’s not serving you, and support you in building a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
Our work together is a mix of reflection and action. We’ll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also building practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I often incorporate approaches like CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness, but in a way that feels natural, not overwhelming or overly technical. Think of it as creating a toolkit that helps you not just cope, but feel more grounded, confident, and intentional in how you live.
I also believe healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. When it feels right, I bring in humor and lightness to help you feel more at ease and human in the process.
Do you you every feel that it's just "Too Much" and you need someone to listen and help. I'm here for you. Anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, down and feeling down or depressed? Let's work together to find a relief and a solution that is right for you. In today's stress filled busy world we can sometimes lose ourselves to the societal norms of what should be done, whether or not if fits our identity, heritage or life goals. I can help bring about peaceful solutions tailored to your life. I'm here for you.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or past experiences that still affect you today, you don’t have to carry it alone. I work with BIPOC adults ages 18 to 65 who are navigating trauma, self-doubt, and the pressure to always be strong for others. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and supported.
My work is grounded in cultural awareness, compassion, and honesty. I use approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, but I focus less on labels and more on what actually helps you feel better in your daily life. Together, we look at patterns that feel stuck and gently challenge the beliefs or experiences that may be holding you back.
I take a collaborative and active approach to therapy. That means we work as a team. I will support you at a pace that feels safe, while also encouraging insight, practical tools, and meaningful change that lasts beyond our sessions.

I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. My path to becoming a mental health provider started with a deep interest in understanding people’s inner worlds and how early experiences shape who we become. I’ve always been drawn to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported, especially during difficult times. Throughout my graduate training, I had the opportunity to work in community mental health and high school counseling settings. Those experiences exposed me to a wide range of clients, from young adults navigating identity & stress to individuals coping with long-standing patterns of emotional pain. I found myself drawn to working with clients who experienced depression and anxiety because these conditions can be so isolating & yet so treatable with the right kind of support.
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of experience working with diverse individuals in the community, private practice, and residential substance abuse treatment. Never in a million years did I ever think providing counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, would be the career to captivate my heart….but it is! My specialties are working with clients who may be suffering from traumatic incidents, substance abuse, various forms of anxiety (PTSD, stress disorders), depression, self-esteem, and gender identity.
Making the decision to receive any form of mental health counseling can be taxing, however, the results are often positive and rewarding. Learning to face your fears in a healthy and appropriate manner is a sign of growth and maturity. It is not an easy task. You will cry, laugh, and maybe feel a little uncomfortable at times. This is just the therapeutic process working to make you emotionally stronger.
*Please note that my preference for treatment sessions are individual and group therapy. However, I do provide a limited number of couples or family therapy sessions for special circumstances.

When life gives us the unexpected sometimes, we need support systems that may seem untraditional to some. As a therapist, I welcome all the doubts that you may have about engaging in the therapeutic process. Therapy is a partnership, meaning I will be there to motivate and challenge you to arrive at the desired outcome. Most of my career has had a focus on working with individuals who suffer from dual diagnosis, trauma, and poor coping skills. Each treatment plan is developed personally for each individual meeting their own personal needs. My primary treatment orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I also have a passion for working with those suffering from burnout in the workplace and those seeking personal self-care plans. My interaction from beginning to end will also include trauma-informed care. I thank you in advance for letting me help you achieve one of your many goals in life, freedom from the bondage that is holding you from your peace!

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Barry University and have been practicing for over 14 years in mental health, substance abuse, nephrology, and hospice. I help individuals who are struggling with life challenges that have led to feelings of emptiness, unfulfilled, loss of purpose, overwhelmingly tired, with no sense of direction. Those individuals typically feel stuck with current life stressors and lose hope for a better future. Together we work to bring about new perspectives on life and create balance for a healthier mind & a healthier living.
