Hi. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Orlando, Florida area. I have resided in this area for more than 30 years. Prior to moving to Orlando, I served in the U.S. Army and now a Veteran. I attended college in Orlando with both my Bachelors and Masters from University of Central Florida. I have worked for Department of Children and Families Protective Services and Investigation for children for 16 years before. Towards the last five years of my DCF career, I began my Masters program in Social Work. After graduating, I began to work on my licensure in therapy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LCSW. I received my Masters in Social Work/M.S.W. from Barry University in 1993. I am intensely trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy/DBT. I love spending time with my family and friends. I received a Bachelor in Science/B.S. from The University of Florida in 1988. I enjoyed my major in Psychology. At this point I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a Clinical provider. My friends always encouraged me to live my dream. Fast forward to the present time and here I am living my dream as a therapist. My experience as a therapist has been rewarding as well as providing me with life lessons and self-growth. My mental health has always been a priority. I practice habits on a daily basis that I share and assist my clients with.

I also have a background in military and federal service. My 13-year military career included work as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and Special Agent with the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations where I specialized in crimes against children and counterintelligence. I also spent ten years with the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers as a Research Psychologist, Behavioral Science Division Program Manager, and Counterterrorism Division Branch Chief. I have earned Associate of Arts Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in both Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science, a Master of Arts in Counseling, and a PhD in International Psychology with an emphasis in Trauma Services.
