New to Grow
I believe therapy works best when it is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity. My approach is compassionate and supportive, while also being honest and direct when needed. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore difficult emotions, and examine the experiences that have shaped who they are. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. Together, we’ll explore patterns, relationships, beliefs, and life experiences that may be influencing your current struggles. My goal is to help clients develop greater insight, self-compassion, and confidence while creating meaningful and lasting change.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant life experiences, relationships, personal history, and any goals you may have for treatment. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll start identifying the challenges you’d like to address and discuss how therapy can support you in moving toward the life you want for yourself.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I bring a balance of empathy and curiosity to my work, creating a space where clients feel supported while also gently exploring patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My experience working with individuals facing complex mental health, substance use, trauma, and relationship challenges has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are while helping them move toward meaningful change. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel both accepted and challenged, and I strive to create that balance in every session.
I work best with adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, or the lasting impact of difficult experiences. They often find themselves repeating patterns they no longer want or feeling disconnected from the person they want to be. Together, we explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences that have shaped who they are today. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are curious, reflective, and willing to look beneath the surface to better understand themselves. My goal is to help clients develop greater insight, self-compassion, and confidence as they move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
Other specialties
I identify as
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing helps people explore mixed feelings about change without judgment or pressure. Rather than telling you what to do, we’ll work together to uncover the motivation and strengths that already exist within you.
Narrative
Narrative Therapy focuses on the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and the experiences we’ve lived through. Together, we’ll explore how certain beliefs, labels, or past experiences may be shaping your current struggles and identify alternative perspectives that feel more empowering and aligned with your values.
Trauma Informed Care
I work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while helping you better understand patterns, strengthen coping resources, and move toward healing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize patterns that may be contributing to distress, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative and flexible, integrating CBT tools in a way that feels practical and relevant to your unique experiences.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I view therapy as a collaborative process and trust that each person has the capacity for growth, insight, and healing when given the opportunity to explore their experiences openly and honestly.
