Later I worked in Child Welfare, as a Child Protective Investigator; investigating allegations of abuse/neglect and ensuring child safety. I have also worked with families, assisting them with getting to the root of their issues while strengthening the family unit. Lastly, I have worked as a medical social worker, both in the hospital and in the outpatient Clinics, as well as in the Emergency Department. I provide crisis intervention, case management, and counseling services; assisting patients with trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and socioeconomic barriers.
