I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Orlando, Florida with over 25 years of experience. I absolutely love what I do and take pride in helping my clients flourish and grow. I love helping teens and young adults (and their families) struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression and the pressure and stress of everyday life. I am calm, easy going and want to help my clients become the best version of themselves!
In our first session, we’ll have a genuine, down-to-earth conversation where you can share what’s on your mind in a safe, judgment-free space. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—my role is to listen, support, and help you make sense of things at your own pace. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable as we begin this process together.
My greatest strength as a therapist is helping clients improve their mood, build resilience, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges. I provide a supportive space where they can explore emotions, reframe negative thoughts, and implement effective coping strategies to create lasting change. More than anything, I truly love connecting with people, making them feel safe, accepted, and worthy—because everyone deserves that.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety and depression, often brought on by the pressures of high school, college, or uncertainty about the future. I’m passionate about helping clients build coping skills, develop confidence, and find clarity as they move toward independence. I also enjoy supporting men and women who are dealing with stress, anxiety, and the demands of everyday life. Through a supportive and practical approach, I help clients feel more in control and empowered in their daily lives.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Together, we work on noticing unhelpful patterns—like negative thinking or self-doubt—and finding more balanced, supportive ways to respond. CBT is practical and goal-oriented, and I like to keep it flexible so it fits your life and what you’re going through.
Focusing on our strengths and positive thought processes can really help improve our mood.
I use Strength-Based Therapy by helping clients identify and build on their unique strengths and past successes, empowering them to overcome challenges and develop greater confidence in themselves.
