I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), EMDR trained and trauma certified, specializing in addiction, anxiety, and depression, including clients currently in treatment programs. My practice is built on a person-centered approach — real dialogue, not lectures, and space for you to heal at your own pace. Together, we'll build practical tools tailored to you, while addressing what's underneath the struggle. My goal is to help you heal, repair, and grow into lasting independence and self-trust.
I think it is important for a therapist to be able to implement multiple approaches to the therapy process in order to best serve a client. I do predominantly utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, but I may modify the approach to best meet your needs and goals. My main focus is helping you make progress and meet your identified goals.
I initially was drawn to being a therapist because I wanted to help others meet life's challenges and understand that sometimes we need a partner/support on that journey. I have worked with many different populations over the course of my career, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Additionally, I have experience working in many different settings, including community mental health, inpatient mental health units, juvenile justice, nursing homes, and adult corrections. I believe these varied experiences and populations have helped to make me a well-rounded therapist.

Hi, I’m Chelse. I became a therapist because I believe no one should have to navigate life’s heaviest seasons alone. With a Master’s from the University of West Georgia and seven years of clinical experience, I’ve dedicated much of my career to supporting individuals of all ages as they heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Whether you're dealing with an eating disorder or just feeling overwhelmed by life, I'm here to help you find your footing - without any judgment.
Whether you are a parent watching your child struggle or an adult trying to find your own way forward, I want you to know you're not alone. I work with children, teens, and adults (ages 6 and up), creating a space where you can let your guard down and just be heard. My goal isn't just to listen, though - it’s to give you real, proven tools to handle heavy emotions, break out of frustrating ruts, and finally feel like yourself again.
A good therapy relationship starts with trust, but it also requires the right expertise. While I treat a range of challenges - including depression, anger, and the messy transitions that kids face growing up - my primary focus is supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Together, we’ll focus on building practical strategies that fit your actual life, empowering you or your family to move past the survival phase and find real, lasting relief.

Hi All!
I am from a small town off of San Diego, California but spent most of my career working with people who lived in some of the more impoverished areas of Los Angeles. My speciality was/is working with highly at-risk youth and families and I loved doing it; I think I got as much from the experience as did my clients.
Personally, I grew up as a fairly good athlete and could often be found on a tennis court, running & cycling around town and even at the gym. I love animals and I have two big dogs and two cats. I am spiritual and attend church regularly. I love the beach and ocean; I have recently moved to Sarasota and am truly enjoying it.
As most therapists do, I have my own history of fighting through some emotionally difficult times and am beyond happy to tell you that with some assistance, I managed to come out the other side and am now quite well and happy today!
Professionally, I have had several careers including, Federal & Local law enforcement and driving as FEDEX Delivery driver while getting my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. After several years of completing the required 3,000 hours of hands-on service, I passed the exams and ultimately became a fully Licensed Marriage Family Therapist.
My practice has provided me with the opportunity to work with persons with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia and more. I am trained and qualified to provide mental health treatment to kids, families, couples and individual adults.
I love my job; I love helping people. It would be an honor if you would consider entrusting me to assist you with anything from your smaller troubles to bigger issues and beyond; I believe that we can achieve great success together.
I’m Shellene Hattersley, LCSW, and for over 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping adults and veterans navigate the challenges life often throws their way. My specialty areas include trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, and my approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and a belief in your inherent strengths.

Whether you’re working through past trauma, feeling stuck in life’s transitions, or looking to gain clarity and confidence, we’ll go at your pace and build on your existing resilience. 👋 Hi, I’m Don Patton, I’m a licensed mental health therapist specializing in substance use, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the patterns that keep people stuck despite wanting to change. My background is primarily in residential treatment, where I’ve worked closely with individuals in early recovery navigating high risk transitions, emotional instability, and repeated relapse cycles.
That experience has shaped how I approach therapy. I’ve seen firsthand that insight alone is not enough. Many of the people I work with are intelligent, self-aware, and capable, but continue to struggle when it comes to applying that awareness in real-life situations. My work is focused on closing that gap.
I tend to be direct, structured, and practical in session. I will challenge thinking patterns that are keeping you stuck; while also helping you build tools that are realistic and usable outside of therapy. At the same time, I understand that change requires trust, consistency, and a space where you can be honest without judgment.
My goal is not just to help you understand yourself better, it’s to help you create measurable, sustainable change in how you think, respond, and move forward.
Who you are matters to me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping you feel seen, heard, and understood. I take a holistic approach and believe that the mind, body, and spiritual aspects of a person’s life all require balance and attention for overall wellness. I will meet you where you are at and gently challenge you to reframe your thoughts so that you can see your true potential and strengths. Together we can explore what drives behavior to gain a better understanding on how to move forward and get unstuck from patterns that no longer serve you.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a systemic approach. Meaning that I will make connections and evaluate all areas of your life. I help everyday people individuals, teens, and couples work through the stress, trauma, and conflict that build up in a real life. Some of the people I see are carrying the weight of high-pressure work like the military, healthcare, or first response; others are just tired of holding it all together on their own. Either way, you get the same thing: a grounded, nonjudgmental space to say what's really going on, and practical tools to build a life that feels purposeful instead of just managed.

Have you been thinking about starting therapy, but life stressors always seem to be a priority? Now it's time to focus on yourself! Latara joins our platform bringing her experience in working with adults, children and couples with varying mental health concerns and marital issues. Latara achieved both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.
I’ve been passionate about psychology since I was eighteen, when I began studying it in Cuba. My mother once told me she had always dreamed of being a psychologist but had to follow another path—and that dream inspired my own. After completing my degree in Cuba, where I worked in inpatient and school settings, I continued my journey in the United States and earned my master’s degree in psychology.
Over the years, I’ve worked with children, families, and adults through moments of crisis, grief, and major life transitions. My experience with multidisciplinary teams has taught me to see each person as a whole—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Healing happens when we look at the full picture of someone’s life, not just their symptoms.
