I am a Licensed Professional Therapist, based in Florida. I was born in the Island of Jamaica but attended College in the USA, where I gained my Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and my Masters from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I began my Professional work in 2019 and worked tirelessly with older teenagers, adults and seniors. However, I also did many hours of internship at a Counseling center and also at a Mental Health Facility, where I gained invaluable experiences.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, after introducing ourselves to each other, I will help my client to understand the process of our weekly therapy sessions and then allow them to share their reason/s for coming to therapy. It is very important for me to know my clients WHY from the start.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my love for people, no matter who they are. I have a strong belief that counseling is my calling and not just a Profession.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with older teenagers, adults and seniors. I am interested in any client who need the tools to improve their lives and is interested to do the work necessary. HOWEVER, I AM VERY MOTIVATED TO WORK WITH COUPLES WHO ARE BATTLING INFERTILITY.

I have been using CBT for the past 7 years. I help clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts.
Christian Counseling
I have used this treatment with all my Christian married couples. I use various faith based marriage books, the Bible and homework assignments. I am also a certified facilitator for Prepare Enrich, which is an online assessment, evidenced based for premarital and marriage clients.

I have been using this treatment to help clients separate the individual from their problem.

Rosemarie created a warm, safe space where we both felt comfortable being vulnerable while also holding us accountable in a caring, ‘auntie-like’ way. She even met with us on her day off and stayed well past the scheduled time. We left feeling supported, understood and hopeful.

All of the words apply actually. I do feel challenged in a good way to really internally assess which otherwise I tend not to do. I am learning the mechanics of this while being empowered to do so.
