About me

My journey as a therapist began with a deep fascination for the human mind and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in people's lives after growing up in the foster care system. I previously served in the Air Force, serving my country. I have a bachelor's in dietetics and nutrition with years of nutrition counseling as well. Over the years, I have honed my skills, gaining experience in various therapeutic techniques and approaches to better serve my clients.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

From the intake, my goal is to create a warm and nurturing environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself openly and honestly. We will build a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect, laying the groundwork for meaningful progress in your therapeutic journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Growing up in the world of foster care with no voice, it's my life mission to help others find their voice and be able to express themselves freely with no judgment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting individuals who are ready to explore their challenges, rediscover their strengths, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with clients from many different walks of life: people facing daily stressors, those struggling with complex mental health conditions, and others navigating major life transitions. While every story is unique, many of my clients come to me with similar goals: they want to feel seen, understood, and supported as they work through the barriers holding them back. Clients Who Are Facing Mental Health Challenges Many of my clients struggle with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or PTSD. They may feel overwhelmed by racing thoughts, persistent sadness, emotional numbness, or the weight of unresolved experiences from the past. These individuals often come to therapy seeking not just symptom relief, but a safe space to process emotions and build healthier coping skills. Together, we work on developing practical strategies to manage distress while also exploring the deeper roots of these struggles. Clients Working Through Addiction and Recovery I also work closely with clients who are battling addiction or who are in various stages of recovery. Addiction can leave people feeling isolated, ashamed, or disconnected from themselves and their loved ones. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can confront their challenges, rebuild self-worth, and create sustainable change. I understand that recovery is not a one-size fits all journey, and I meet each client where they are, helping them find the resources, tools, and support systems that fit their needs. Clients Exploring Identity and Personality Some of my clients are navigating questions of identity or struggling with personality disorders that impact their sense of self, relationships, and daily functioning. These individuals often seek therapy because they want to understand themselves more deeply, learn how to manage strong emotions, and improve the way they connect with others. Through our work, I provide structure, compassion, and evidence-based techniques to help them make sense of their patterns and move toward greater stability and self-acceptance. Clients Seeking Healthier Relationships Relationship struggles, whether romantic, familial, or social—bring many people to therapy. My ideal clients include those who feel stuck in cycles of conflict, stru
