I understand that therapy can be intimating and so I applaud you for taking this step in looking at options for support. Have difficult relationships, grief, trauma, world events, family dynamics, or even daily life stressors made you feel otherwise? Let me help you find the narrative threads that will assist you in reweaving the fabric of your life.
I am first of all a very empathic human been. In a therapeutic session you will find an empathic listener, who is on your side, to help you make changes, process situations, externalize feelings and see situations with a different lense.
With twenty years of experience working with clients I have been exposed to many different life situations, and will do my best to help you in the transition.

Are you feeling stuck, telling yourself that you are going to change, but somehow ending up doing exactly what you promised yourself you wouldn’t do? Do you convince yourself that you are going to move forward and then find that anxiety, hopelessness, harsh self-judgments, or a bad temper take control and push you backwards? Do you find yourself in relationship patterns that leave you feeling cut off from those you long to be close too? If this sounds familiar, you don't have to face this alone. There are reasons you feel this way, and you can discover what those reasons are and how you can change to live a more fulfilling life.
You may feel stuck because the way you are trying to solve your problems is by going back to the same strategies that got you stuck in the first place. It can be confusing seeing yourself stuck in thoughts and behaviors you know don’t work. Often this is because in the moment those strategies appear to be the only sensible choice, even when they aren’t.
If you choose to work with me, together we can explore the ins and outs of that confusion so that you can find your way out of it. Because that can often feel threatening and disorienting, I will be patient and give you the space and safety needed to do this work at your own pace. Be that fast or slow or in-between. I look forward to working with you.

I've always wanted to help people and I've always been a really social person; therapy allows me to do both and serve clients who may not have sought therapy before. Being a Black woman, I understand that people who look like me are least likely to seek therapy; this is one of the reasons I chose to become a therapist. I love interacting with clients from all different backgrounds as this widens my therapeutic practice. I received my undergraduate degree from FSU and my MSW degree from FIU.

Hi. My name is Beth Marsh and I am a licensed mental health counselor living in Florida. I have been practicing since 2000. I have worked in community mental health, large private practices, small private practices, for a professional medicine department with a local university, fancy residential rehab, and as a case manager for a large insurance company. My clients have been diverse and run the gamut in socio-economic status. I enjoy working with most people. My favorite clients are the ones who are ready for a change in their life…no matter how big or small. I enjoy couples counseling with traditional and non traditional couples. I have had a lot of success with clients with anxiety and depression. Sometimes life throws a lot our way and you need a safe place to think, regroup and make a new plan. I can help with that!
I am seminary educated and am a Christian, but you do not have to have the same belief system I do. I understand different cultures and religion and love diversity. In the end, we are all humans trying to do the best we can.
If you are struggling with a relationship, anxiety, depression, self esteem or stage of life issues, reach out. You do not have to go it alone and there is hope. I am here.
I am passionate about trauma and helping others who have suffered from trauma in the past. The impact of trauma is largely unrecognized and can last a lifetime. Additionally, symptoms of trauma masquerade as many other diagnoses. For example, thousands of children are diagnosed each year with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, when their symptoms are actually due to trauma. Trauma disguises itself as anger management issues, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks ... the list goes on and on. For me, treating trauma and helping others overcome its devastating effects is intensely rewarding.
Hello, my name is Michelle, and I am happy that you are here! Life can be challenging, and some days things may seem completely overwhelming and out of control. As a person-centered counselor, I truly believe that no matter what we may go through, healing and growth is possible. I often remind my clients that they hold the power to create the life that they desire and the change they wish to see. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, family conflict or grief this is the space for you! I look forward to being on this journey of growth and healing with you.
Hi! My name is Jacqueline Lizarazo, and I go by Jackie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in therapy for individuals, children, and couples, with a focus on grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and sexual abuse.
Why Choose Me:
I want you to read the following passages:
On Abuse: “I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either.”
On Depression: “Trees aren’t supposed to display fruit; they’re supposed to produce it. As much as I wanted to see results, I knew that I had to wait. The tree had to become healthy and mature before it could produce the fruit, and that takes time.”
If what you read resonates with you, this is the type of therapy I offer. I push, and sometimes might make you cry—not to harm, but for growth. I deeply care about my patients and only want the best for you.
I am not judgmental; I am here to listen and provide feedback. I often ask myself the question: if I were sitting where you are, would I come back? And the answer is yes. I give homework, so don’t expect it to be easy unless we need it to be. I am flexible, and my schedule is pretty open to fit your needs.
We’re going to have days where we just catch up and talk about what happened that week but be prepared to talk about your past. I believe together we can grow into the person you want to be.

I will tailor our dialogue to meet your unique and specific needs by identifying your therapy goals and working towards healthy, productive, life -affirming solutions.
My counseling style is client -focused and somewhat laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I utilize motivational interviewing, mended with empathy, compassion, and gentle guidance, to assist you in a solution-based approach, I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to make targeted change. I work to help clients understand their physical response to external stressors, and begin to problem-solve ways to introduce moments of calm, to choose to respond rather than react in the face of change.
