Hello and welcome! I am a licensed mental health counselor with a strong background in supporting individuals through life’s challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs. I specialize in working with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and self-esteem issues, and I am passionate about helping them find lasting relief, build self-worth, and restore emotional balance. My goal is to empower each client to live with greater peace, clarity, and confidence in themselves and their daily lives.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we’ll begin building a connection. I have a very down-to-earth and friendly personality that helps clients feel welcome and comfortable. I’ll ask questions to get to know you, gather some background information, and learn about your goals for therapy so we can start tailoring our work to best support your needs.
One of my greatest strengths is my deep respect for the fact that people are the authors of their own lives. I focus on helping clients build emotional resilience and self-esteem, tapping into the inner power they already possess to create the lives they desire. I also love providing practical coping skills so clients have a toolbox they can rely on beyond therapy. My approach centers on empowering clients to find peace, balance, and stability, enabling them to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. Coming from a background of multiple cultures, I also honor and respect each client’s culture, religion, and ethnicity as an important part of their identity.
My ideal clients are individuals navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, motherhood challenges, and self-esteem concerns who are seeking balance and emotional relief. I’m passionate about helping clients build self-worth, develop effective coping skills, and feel more confident and grounded as they move toward a life of greater peace, clarity, and empowerment.
I have found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be an effective, evidence-based approach for helping clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and guiding clients in shifting their mindset to support them in achieving their mental health goals.
I have found Mindfulness-Based Therapy to be a powerful approach for helping clients increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and stay present in the moment. In my practice, I use techniques such as breathwork, present-moment awareness, and guiding clients to observe their thoughts non-judgmentally to support emotional regulation and overall well-being.
I have found Multicultural-Based Therapy to be essential in providing inclusive, respectful, and effective care that honors each client's unique cultural background and identity. In my practice, I actively explore clients’ cultural values, experiences, and perspectives, integrating this understanding to create a safe and empowering therapeutic environment.
