With over 13 years of clinical experience, I work with adults facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach combines evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, to help clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths. I believe that meaningful change occurs when clients feel empowered to understand themselves more deeply and take intentional steps toward the life they want to create. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is not about having all the answers or solving everything immediately. Rather, it is the beginning of building a trusting therapeutic relationship and developing a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. By the end of our session, we will have identified initial areas of focus and discussed next steps for your therapeutic journey.

EMDR

I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process distressing experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop healthier, more adaptive beliefs about themselves and their lives. EMDR can be an effective treatment for anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and certain distressing thought patterns by targeting the underlying experiences and triggers that contribute to symptoms. Treatment is tailored to each individual's needs and incorporates skill-building, emotional regulation, and a collaborative approach to support lasting healing and personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. This approach is especially effective for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, overthinking, low self-esteem, and the impact of traumatic experiences. By identifying and reframing negative thought patterns and distorted core beliefs, clients can develop healthier perspectives and experience meaningful personal growth. I have relied on CBT throughout my 13 years in practice because of its proven ability to support lasting healing and emotional wellness.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Throughout my years in practice, I have found mindfulness to be a powerful tool for helping clients manage stress, anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. By learning to focus on the present moment with curiosity and compassion, clients can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and build practical skills for navigating life's challenges with greater confidence and emotional balance.
