Thank you for taking the first step of courage and making yourself a priority today. Opening yourself up and being vulnerable can be a tremendous step to your healing process. Although the first steps can be overwhelming, I can walk with you and help guide you on the journey of healing and peace. I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal. Remember that you are worthy and deserving of being free of the emotional pain you are experiencing. Be kind to yourself.

As a relational therapist, I believe that healing happens best through connection and the ability to be your authentic self. Together, in our sessions, we will dig into what's happened in the past and what's going on now, working to uncover how it shows up in your body and your relationships.
We'll explore those intense emotions, family dynamics, and complex feelings that you're struggling to understand and communicate. Processing in therapy isn't only verbal, so I enjoy using activities you're interested in to help you feel motivated and grounded. What's important to me is helping you find your way back to yourself and the connections that matter most, with quality time and good company.
I enjoy connecting with others through my interests in cooking, baking, and hosting social gatherings. As a fellow creative, culinary arts and photography are additional focuses in my studies aside from mental health. I aspire to help other creatives break through their mental blocks, reconnect with their passions and find inspiration in their craft again!

My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change—helping you move toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of self. I draw from DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy, along with a humanistic perspective, to meet each client where they are. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed for lasting change. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a powerful place to begin.

My clients describe me as a “good listener” and as someone who “makes me think”.
Some of the experiences that have contributed to my professional identity and approach to mental health treatment are my formal education at Pensacola Christian College where I received a BA in Pastoral Ministry and Liberty University where I received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My experiences as a combat military veteran, teacher, father, husband, and a person who has experienced my own traumas and failures have contributed to my professional development.
I look forward to getting to know you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years of experience, working with adults, adolescents, and school age children. I bring a collaborative approach to therapy sessions to try and work toward goals to best benefit clients. While creating a safe space for client’s to discuss their needs, I also challenge thought processes and problematic behaviors to work toward progress.
I understand that "starting counseling" or finding a new therapist can seem overwhelming. That “exhausted-before-I-even-begin” feeling is why I believe so deeply in the efficacy of "telehealth" counseling. . With telehealth, you can tuck into whatever space allows you to feel most at ease. With your coffee or your dog nearby, you don't have to leave your world to talk about your world. My clients often tell me they come into therapy feeling nervous or overwhelmed and eventually find themselves feeling comfortable, understood, and even looking forward to our sessions. That matters to me.

Hi, I’m Gretchen Raring, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW: NJ, FL, AZ & ND; LICSW: MA) with 20+ years of experience in behavioral health. I work with teens through older adults and support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel supportive and purposeful. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I see therapy as a team effort. I want you to feel comfortable being honest while supported and challenged toward change.
My approach is structured but flexible. We’ll have a sense of direction while making room for what matters most. I use an eclectic approach based on your needs and goals. I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all.
One of my strengths is being highly attuned and building the trust that allows deeper work. Together, we’ll connect the dots between your experiences, emotions, relationships, thoughts, and behaviors. We’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies for everyday life.
My background includes work across mental health, addiction, trauma, homelessness, the criminal justice system, and community-based behavioral health. I’ve worked with people during difficult times in their lives. Those experiences shape how I practice and reinforce my belief that there is always more to someone’s story than what you see on the surface.
I believe progress is about the direction of our work, not the speed. Change often happens through small steps. I believe in celebrating every win because those wins build confidence and momentum.
Above all, I want therapy to be a place for honest conversations, deeper understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change-at a pace that works for you.
At this time, I am accepting individual clients only and am not accepting new couples. I will update my profile when couples availability reopens.
My path to becoming your therapist is somewhat unique compared to others in the field. Over the years, I have built a diverse professional background that began with a career in sales. I then transitioned into the Long-Term Care Industry, where I served as both an Admissions and Marketing Director and a Director of Social Services. In addition to these roles, I have been actively involved in my community, working as an HIV/AIDS Intervention Specialist and a Substance Abuse Counselor. For a decade, I also had the privilege of serving as a Licensed Pastor.
On a personal level, my life has been enriched by becoming a husband, a father, and more recently, a grandfather. Throughout my journey, I have experienced many of life’s joys and victories. At the same time, I have learned valuable lessons from self-inflicted setbacks and from dealing with the consequences of choices that cannot be changed.

I graduated from UCF in 2021 and right away fell into working with high-need clients with nonprofits Florida. I have over 5 years of experience working with client with mood dysregulation, conflict with family and friends, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, and neurodiversity. I don't "fix" people; I strive to help you learn the skills you need to build up your life the way you want it.
As a disclaimer, I don't use AI notetaking in my practice. I believe in privacy first and foremost.
You may be someone who keeps pushing through stress, pain, difficult relationships, or past experiences while appearing strong and capable to everyone around you. Yet underneath, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck. Michelle helps adults understand the patterns keeping them there and develop practical ways to move forward. Her work is especially focused on anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, relationship concerns, and major life transitions, using an integrative mind-body perspective.
Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, U.S. Navy veteran, and bilingual English-Portuguese therapist with a background in kinesiology, psychology, massage therapy, and health coaching.
Tired of doing too much, trying too hard, or hiding who you are? I help adults with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and trauma feel seen, develop ways to cope and adapt, and live more authentically. My style is warm, clear, kind, and genuine. Together, we’ll use evidence-based approaches, manageable steps, and a touch of humor to help you discover what truly works for you.
