I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Carlos Albizu University, earned in 2021. With over three years of experience, I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, and life transitions. I’m dedicated to helping clients build skills, find clarity, and feel more in control of their lives.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what’s been going on and what brought you to therapy, and you can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. We’ll talk about your goals and what you’d like to get out of therapy, and I’ll explain how I work so you know what to expect moving forward.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood. I’m good at helping people explore their thoughts and emotions while offering practical tools to make positive changes. I’m focused on working together with clients to help them feel empowered and confident in their growth.
I love working with teens, young adults, and early-career professionals who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure about their next steps. Many of my clients are motivated to grow but need support and tools to manage stress, make decisions, and move forward with more confidence and clarity.
CBT is a type of therapy that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. In our sessions, we’ll look at patterns in your thinking that might be causing stress or problems, and work on ways to change them. The goal is to help you feel better and handle challenges with more confidence and control.
