If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly overthinking, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone. I help individuals who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and relationship stress learn how to feel more in control and confident in their daily lives.
Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion. They’re used to carrying everything on their own and don’t always have the tools to slow their thoughts or regulate their emotions.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually keeping you stuck—and more importantly, how to change it. You’ll learn practical skills to manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, set healthy boundaries, and respond differently in situations that usually overwhelm you.
My approach is structured, supportive, and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy to help you create real, lasting change—not just temporary relief. If desired, I also offer a Christian, faith-based perspective.
If you’re ready for therapy that is both supportive and practical, I’m here to help you build clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of control.
I’m a bilingual (English-Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, women’s health concerns, and the emotional impact of chronic illness, especially cancer. Clients often describe my style as warm, supportive, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without feeling judged or rushed. My goal is to help you better understand your emotions, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support healing, clarity, and emotional balance. My approach is personalized and guided by your unique experiences, values, and goals. If you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or uncertain about your next steps, therapy can offer space to pause, make sense of what you are carrying, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and support.

Sustainable change isn't a matter of willpower; it’s a matter of design.
Most people who feel "stuck" aren't lacking motivation—they are simply operating within a system that wasn't built to support their unique brain or their highest goals. As an LMHC and BCBA with over 20 years of clinical experience, I specialize in the science of behavior to help you move past trying harder and start building smarter. I define my approach as Behavioral Architecture. Together, we identify the environmental friction—procrastination, anxiety, or digital distraction—and replace self-blame with structural solutions. Through the Masterpiece Framework, we audit your daily systems to ensure they align with your core values and the identity you are intentionally cultivating. We aren't just changing habits; we are clearing the path so you can live with the clarity and intention of a Masterpiece in progress.
As a bilingual clinician, I offer a practical perspective that honors the challenge of navigating diverse cultures. I help you bridge the gap between your heritage and your future, ensuring the systems we design together are both culturally resonant and personally meaningful.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
Lets awaken a new you! Its time to make yourself a priority. I understand the process that many go through to find a better way to live. I know how hard it can be thinking that there’s no way out of the “mess.” I have found my love and passion for helping others find a way out. There are many different paths to get back in control, and I can help you find the path that works for you!

I have provided counsel to assist people from diverse backgrounds, assisting many clients with anxiety/depression, provided trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family therapy, parenting skills, and other counseling services for people facing life’s many problems.
I am Kai Hutson, a licensed mental health counselor located in Florida. I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in November of 2021 from Walden University. With my degree, I also gained a specialization in treating addiction. I completed my internship in mental health counseling with Children’s Home Society from March of 2021 through November 2021. During my time in my internship, I counseled patients from the age of 9-45, and gained experience in counseling with a variety of issues, including anxiety, Depression, OCD, and PTSD. I also led a counseling group that helped children ages 9-12 deal with divorce and the challenges that come along with that.
I have been working as counselor post-gradsince February of 2022. I have counseled clients from the age of 6-74, gaining experience in a variety of issues including oppositional defiance, anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, and intrusive thoughts. I became a counselor after I received counseling herself, and the impact that it made on my life inspired me to want to help people in the same way that I was helped. If I am able to help one person in the same way that I was helped, then this career is worth it to me.
I uses a Strengths-Based approach, combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal as a counselor is to help her patients manage the curveballs that life often throws us with the help of coping skills and a positive outlook.
I am a compassionate and collaborative mental health counselor with over 15 years of experience dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. My approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

From day one, I create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. I combine deep empathy with clinical insight, allowing me to connect with clients on a human level while still providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I listen carefully—not just to what is said, but to what’s underneath—and I help clients put words to experiences they may have carried alone for a long time.
