I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with over a decade of experience across diverse settings, including substance recovery, hospice care, and correctional facilities. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Indian River State College in 2014 and my Master of Social Work from Barry University in 2017. My work has focused on supporting individuals through addiction, grief and loss, incarceration, anxiety, depression, and both childhood and generational trauma. I also work closely with couples and families navigating complex dynamics. At the core of my practice is a deep belief that everyone holds the potential for healing, growth, and meaningful change. My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and direct—with plenty of compassion and a touch of humor. I use humor intentionally to break down walls, ease heavy conversations, and remind clients that healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I value authenticity and create a space where clients can feel truly seen and heard without judgment. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, customizing my methods to fit each individual’s journey. My toolbox includes cognitive-behavioral, existential, narrative, and client-centered therapies—all aimed at helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence. Therapy with me is about real conversations, practical tools, and the belief that even small steps can lead to big change. If you're ready to explore what’s holding you back and start moving toward what’s possible, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first therapy session is the exciting beginning of your personal story reboot—a fresh chapter where you begin to take intentional steps toward healing and growth. In this initial meeting, you’ll have a chance to sit down with me and openly share why you’ve decided to seek support. Whether it’s feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or something else entirely, this is your space to be heard without judgment. During this session, it’s all about you—your story, your experiences, your hopes, and even those quirky little moments that make you uniquely you. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work to understand not just the challenges you face but also your strengths and what truly matters to you. This helps lay the foundation for a personalized journey that feels meaningful and relevant to your life. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about how therapy works, what to expect, and how the process can support your goals. This conversation sets the tone for a collaborative, trusting relationship where we are a team, working together toward unlocking your best self. The first session is designed to help you feel comfortable and safe—a judgment-free zone where vulnerability is met with compassion. It’s the first step in building a supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow. From here, the work continues not only in sessions but also through the insights and actions you take in your everyday life, setting you on the path toward meaningful and lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my authenticity. I believe in being genuine and straightforward because true growth often requires honest reflection and sometimes difficult conversations. I don’t sugarcoat things or offer empty reassurances—I aim to be as honest and transparent as possible, creating a space where real change can happen. I understand that growth can be uncomfortable, but it’s through that discomfort that transformation takes place. That’s why I’m committed to challenging you when it’s needed, pushing you gently but firmly out of old patterns and comfort zones, so you can discover your own inner strengths and capacity for change. At the same time, I know that every person is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I use an eclectic approach—drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques and styles—to create a plan that feels right for you. Whether that means integrating cognitive-behavioral tools, mindfulness practices, narrative therapy, or other modalities, my goal is always to find the best fit that supports your healing and growth. Accountability is another key part of my work with clients. I’m here to support you, but I also hold you responsible for the effort and commitment that change requires. Therapy isn’t something that happens just in our sessions—it’s a collaborative process that continues outside the office. I encourage you to take ownership of your journey, knowing that you have the strength and resilience to move forward, even when it feels challenging. Together, we’ll create a space of honesty, respect, and empowerment, where you can grow into the best version of yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who, even if they sometimes feel lost or overwhelmed, knows deep down that they are meant for more. They’re tired of feeling stuck in the same cycles—repeating patterns in relationships, in how they speak to themselves, or how they move through the world—and they’re ready for something different. They may not have all the answers yet, but they are open and willing to explore the deeper parts of themselves to begin creating meaningful change. This person understands that real transformation doesn't happen in a single moment or in one breakthrough session—it’s a process. They are ready to take an honest look in the mirror, to face both their strengths and their blind spots, and to explore how their past experiences, beliefs, and choices have shaped where they are today. They are not interested in quick fixes or surface-level solutions. They want depth. They want truth. And most importantly, they want growth. They recognize that therapy isn’t just the 45 minutes spent in the room with me. It’s what happens in between—the small shifts in awareness, the tough conversations they finally have, the journal entries, the quiet reflections, the boundaries they start to set, and the moments they choose a new response instead of an old reaction. They’re willing to put in the work outside of our sessions because they know that’s where real life happens—and that’s where real healing is tested and reinforced. My ideal client comes to therapy not just to talk, but to change. They’re ready to take accountability for the role they play in their own suffering, without shame, but with a sense of responsibility and empowerment. They are willing to feel discomfort, to ask themselves hard questions, and to stay curious about what they find. They may struggle at times—that’s part of the process—but they keep showing up because they know their healing is worth it. Therapy with me is a partnership, and this client is ready to show up for themselves in a new way. They’re not just looking for support—they’re looking for transformation. And they’re ready to do what it takes to create a life that feels aligned, authentic, and truly their own.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

As a therapist using Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients identify their goals and focus on solutions rather than problems. I guide them to recognize their existing strengths and past successes to build confidence and momentum. Through brief, goal-oriented conversations, I support clients in envisioning a preferred future and taking small, achievable steps toward it.

Existential

As a therapist using Existential Therapy, I help clients explore fundamental life questions around meaning, freedom, responsibility, and mortality. I create a space for them to confront their anxieties and make authentic choices aligned with their values. Through this process, I support clients in living more purposefully and embracing their personal agency.

Narrative

As a therapist using Narrative Therapy, I help clients externalize their problems by viewing them as separate from their identity. I guide them in re-authoring their stories to highlight strengths, values, and preferred outcomes. Through collaborative dialogue, I support clients in reshaping limiting narratives and building more empowering ones.

Attachment-based

As a therapist using Attachment-based Therapy, I help clients explore how early attachment experiences influence their current relationships and emotional patterns. I create a secure, supportive therapeutic relationship to model healthy attachment and build trust. Through this process, I assist clients in developing more secure ways of relating to themselves and others.
