I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My work spans across a wide range of concerns, including stress management, anxiety, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I also specialize in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including postpartum depression. My approach focuses on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions openly. I believe therapy is a courageous step toward growth and healing, and I commend you for taking that first step toward positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions and gather some background information to better understand your unique experiences. From there, we’ll explore the specific challenges you’re facing and discuss your goals for therapy. This collaborative approach allows me to create a personalized plan tailored to your needs, which we’ll work through together in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working with individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, grief, and related concerns. I believe that those who commit to the therapeutic process can make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. I take pride in using my expertise to help clients identify areas they want to improve and support them in achieving their goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for many years to help clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage anxiety. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By understanding these patterns, we can work on reshaping your thinking to reduce stress and anxiety, empowering you to lead a calmer, more balanced life.

Faith based therapy

I offer faith-based counseling for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the healing process. Combining evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a faith-centered perspective, I help clients find strength, hope, and resilience through both practical coping strategies and spiritual guidance. Together, we’ll explore how your faith can serve as a source of comfort and empowerment while addressing emotional and mental health needs.

Grief Therapy

Grief is a deeply personal experience, and there is no “right” way to navigate it. My approach focuses on creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can process your emotions at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore your unique experience of loss, identify coping strategies, and work toward finding meaning and healing in a way that feels authentic to you. My goal is to support you in honoring your loss while helping you move forward with hope and resilience.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness therapy is about learning to be fully present in the moment without judgment. In our work together, I’ll guide you through practical techniques to help you slow down, notice your thoughts and emotions, and respond with intention rather than react out of habit. These skills can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and create a greater sense of peace in your daily life.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand how trauma has impacted your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Using structured techniques, we’ll gradually address distressing memories in a safe and supportive environment while building coping skills to manage triggers and reduce anxiety.

I’ve been given action steps to take throughout our time together and in the past I didn’t receive that with other therapists. I’m making changes thanks to her help.
