You're not here to be "fixed." You're here to be heard. I’m a therapist who takes an eclectic, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness to help with challenges like anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, trauma and relationship dynamics. I don’t give advice because I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to listen closely, ask the right questions, and help you uncover the "why", "how", and "what" behind your choices with you. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and focused on helping you find your voice, not mine.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface—and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles—and how to build new, healthier ways of relating. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you—because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle. As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control. My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling. This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.

Sometimes life just overwhelms you, and this is one of those times. Are you tired, frustrated, even confused about how to proceed? I can assist you in managing to work your way through the issue and into creating a life you love. Birth, death, marriage, divorce, empty nest, career problems are all life cycle events. When one or more of these occur, it seems to throw everything else in your life off- kilter. Avoiding the issue has not helped, and you may not know exactly how to go about addressing it. Dealing with sadness, anxiety, anger, and/or fear is challenging on your own. I will be here for you, listening, caring, maybe challenging some of your thoughts or beliefs, but always in your court. I work with adults, both individually and as couples, and I have experience with the LBGTQ+ community. My name is Carol Lazarus. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 25 years experience in helping clients overcome life cycle issues. With experience in dealing with women\'s issues, family substance abuse, mood disorders, low self esteem, lack of self-confidence, communication, and rebuilding what has been broken, I would love the opportunity to see if I am the therapist that can assist you. I think one of the most important parts of therapy is finding the right "fit". That relationship is key in helping grow, trust and meet any goals that you might have going into the therapeutic process. Let me give you a glimpse of who I am! I'm Amy, a LMHC, who has been in the counseling world for over 15 years and love what I get to do. I started my career in the community health sector which I learned so much and worked with diverse groups of people with an array of various needs. I have worked in school settings as well as in homes. I have been deep within the community in many of my roles along the way. I have developed many techniques along the way as not one intervention will work for everyone. Some of the modalities I use are EMDR, CBT, Motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques as well as a combination of these. I meet people where they are, maybe having to learn how they are even feeling let alone how to cope with that feeling. Maybe we have a tool, but if no one ever took the time to teach us, then what good is that tool?

I'm not your typical therapist. I do very, very advanced work based upon the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that whatever we focus on, we attract to us, whatever we fear, we welcome into our lives. The support I offer is about letting go of the fears. I'm Kelly, and I'm a certified Infinite Possibilities facilitator, Compassion Key expert, Healthy boundaries specialist, and Breathwork practitioner. I work with clients ready to let go of all limitations and enter endless possibilities of growth and expansion. In sessions with me, we don't give time or energy to the negative. We focus solely on solutions and forward momentum. I work with clients who are excited about homework between sessions and keeping the momentum flowing. I work with clients who take full responsibility for their own growth. We may go through the Infinite Possibilities curriculum, remove blocks and focus on what you're creating in your life. All sessions are based on the Law of Attraction and personal empowerment. Only you know if now is the right time for this level of growth on your journey.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I specialize in helping individuals heal from Complex PTSD and family-of-origin issues that continue to shape how they see themselves and relate to others. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain—often carrying the weight of old wounds that never had the chance to fully heal. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I honor your unique experiences and tailor our work together to meet your specific needs and goals. Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other trauma-informed methods, we’ll work to reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences so you can move toward greater clarity, self-connection, and peace. Healing from complex trauma takes courage, but it is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll create a space where your story is understood, your resilience is honored, and meaningful change can take root.

Hi there, I am Charly. As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress. Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress. One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival. As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy. I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

During a 13-year career in industry working as an engineer, I became inspired through a steady variety of volunteer work helping others within my community. I returned to school and earned my Master of Social Work degree. Recognizing that our body actively participates in all of our life experiences, I completed my Massage Therapy Certification. As I continued to work with more people in therapy, I learned about a novel approach that I could use to bridge these two disciplines, and I became a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and I virtually assist folks living in Florida, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. For over 30 years I have worked with people within adolescent, adult, and elder populations, US military veterans, and folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. Many have struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, gender incongruence, mood disorders, psychosis, substance use disorders, grief and loss, and chronic pain and illness.

Welcome! I provide individual therapy to adults dealing with a variety of challenges including: anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustment issues, complex trauma, and attachment issues. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you have been in therapy before, it is important to choose a therapist that you feel connected to and has experience in treating the areas that align with your needs. Therapy is an intimate experience, a collaboration between you and the therapist. I take that role seriously and understand that to do my best work, I need to understand each client holistically. I feel like my biggest asset is the ability to see a client's strengths, empower them to achieve their goals, and support them throughout the therapeutic process. Therapy helps uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow you to deal with the challenges that arise in life. A successful therapy experience does not mean a person is cured, it means the person has the inner and outer resources to deal with the ups and downs of life. My goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to successfully deal with life, on your own terms. With warmth, compassion, and a bit of humor, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment to help foster personal growth and healing. I have experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient, Telehealth therapy , and schools. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and approved Clinical Supervisor. I look forward to working with you!

I specialize in helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—approaches that support real change by combining empathy, skill-building, and a strong therapeutic alliance. With 8 years of clinical experience and lived experience with addiction and family trauma, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding into the therapy room. Above all, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your struggle—you can just be real. And from that place, we work together to create the life you want to live.
