(She/her)
New to Grow
As a licensed therapist in Florida, I help people work through emotional challenges and difficult life changes. I support clients who struggle with things like social anxiety, stress, feeling isolated, low self-esteem, and communication problems. My goal is to help people feel more confident, understood, and connected to others. With more than 10 years of experience, I provide a caring and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe talking about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work with people dealing with depression, trauma, stress, guilt, and shame, and help them build healthy coping skills and practical tools for daily life. I believe therapy should respect each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals. I work together with clients to help them build resilience, find purpose, and create positive, lasting change in their lives.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, to discuss your concerns, and explore the goals you would like to work toward in therapy. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you can share openly and begin building a path toward meaningful growth and healing.
I believe my greatest strength is helping others feel comfortable enough to openly share their thoughts and concerns. I approach every person with compassion, acceptance, and without judgment. My goal is to help you better understand the challenges you’re facing while working together toward positive resolutions and personal growth.
My dream client is not defined by a specific diagnosis or background, but by a willingness to show up, be open to the process, and work toward growth and healing at their own pace. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change.
I identify as
Trauma-Focused CBT
I was trained in this specialty and implemented it with children within a school district after a natural disaster significantly impacted thousands of individuals and families. I have also utilized this treatment modality with veterans while working as a trauma therapist for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in Florida. These experiences strengthened my belief in the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in helping individuals process trauma, build resilience, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I am naturally drawn to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because I believe that once we begin to address and challenge the way we think about ourselves, others, and the world around us, we can create meaningful changes in our behaviors, emotional responses, and overall quality of life. CBT emphasizes the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I appreciate its practical, goal-oriented approach to helping individuals develop healthier patterns of thinking and coping.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I am also drawn to Person-Centered Therapy because I believe healing and personal growth occur most effectively when individuals feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. This approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe and supportive environment. I value the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship and empowering clients to recognize their own strengths, insight, and capacity for change.
