Hi! My name is Moriah E. McCarthy. I am a licensed mental health counselor that believes in a holistic and blended approach with respect for the mind-body-spirit connection. Mental health is a pivotal component of all wellness. Treatment with me blends the exploration of the past and the deepening of insight with more concrete interventions and a forward-focused momentum. I use psycho-education and skills-building to empower clients to support themselves after counseling. Strengths and weaknesses are brought forward to integrate thoughts, feelings and actions into the whole self. I believe in collaborating with clients throughout the process. Clients feel supported and also challenged to take responsibility for their own success. When you work with me, I hope that we partner in your treatment. I value your feedback, appreciate you opening to possibilities, and taking action for greater stability. My approach is best described as client-centered and creative.

Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward. My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.” Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?” You don’t have to continue living that way. I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty. Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly. If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Hi, I'm Lucas, and I'm really glad you're here. I have 8 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including directing an Intensive Outpatient Program. In 2023, I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, addiction, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate and engaged; I bring real energy to every session, yes, even through a screen, and I practice what I teach because mental health is something we all work at. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, biofeedback tools, behavior-change strategies, and research-backed habits that make a real difference in daily life. I work hard to break through the virtual barrier so it feels like we're genuinely in the same space, working together as a team. Expect me to be direct, and don't be surprised if I send you home with "homework." Growth happens in the everyday moments, not just the hour we spend together. My job is simple: help you reconnect with your strengths, build real confidence, and move toward the life you actually want. You're worth that work.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor doing therapy for 25 years. I've always worked in schools, with my last decade in a university counseling center so young adults are my specialized population. My specialty areas are anxiety/stress, ADHD, adjustment/life transitions, self-esteem, academic concerns, and personal development (identity, career, LGBTQIA+). One fun fact is that I'm a trained drumming facilitator so I love using music (and art) in therapy when you are open to it. I’m a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles and how to build new, healthier ways of relating. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I moved to Florida from Nashville but have roots in Mississippi and Virginia. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in April of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. I used that degree to enroll at Capella University where I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in March of 2021. My passion for counseling started when I was very young. In my teenage years I participated in groups that worked to prevent teen suicide. This interest eventually worked its way into my adult life as a career in the mental health field. My first position after graduating with my Masters was assisting individuals whose substance abuse lead to involvement in the criminal justice system. Building on that, I also have experience with Veterans' issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, relationships, depression, anxiety, social fears and many other mental health diagnoses. I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach to an individual’s mental health. I use a wide range of techniques to best help my clients to achieve the goals they set forth during their time in treatment by developing strategies and coping skills to achieve optimal mental health.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

First, with my bachelors degree and later doing clinical work after earning my master's degree. I believe taking care of our mental health should be as accepted and routine as taking care of our physical health. Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves. Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.

Hi, I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche. Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later. Hope to meet you soon.

Hi I'm Phillip, Reaching out for support isn’t always easy—so take a moment to acknowledge the courage it took to take this first step. Starting therapy can feel empowering, overwhelming, or even a little scary—and that’s completely okay. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, struggling with self-care, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll work on building healthier boundaries, improving communication (especially with yourself!), and creating more balance in your life. Therapy is a space for growth, healing, and finding clarity—and you deserve all of that and more. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here and ready to walk alongside you.

With more than 30 years of experience in counseling, education, and mental health services, I bring a compassionate, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach to therapy. I hold master’s degrees in Counseling from Webster University and Human Relations from University of Oklahoma, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. My professional experience spans district-level school counseling, district-level mental health leadership, juvenile justice, family advocacy, career counseling, and community-based support services. I currently serve as a Mental Health Specialist within a public school district, where I provide leadership, training, and support for school counselors, social workers, psychologists, and therapists to promote student mental health and academic success. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, trauma, life transitions, domestic violence, career concerns, and family stressors. My approach integrates supportive counseling, psychoeducation, person-centered therapy, and practical coping strategies to help clients build self-awareness, emotional wellness, healthy relationships, and effective decision-making skills. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged to grow at their own pace while developing the tools needed to navigate life’s transitions and challenges successfully.
