What typically surprises people is that I am the 11th of 13 children - all from the same parents. Growing up with so many siblings has given me a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics and effective discipline. My parents did a great job of maintaining a safe and well-behaved home, and I use their example as a template while also incorporating my own experience as a parent for working with families today.
As for my approach to therapy, I use several different theories depending on the need of the client; however, my primary mode is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It just fits my personality. If you are looking for a therapist who focuses solely on your emotions and how you're feeling on any given day, then I will not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a therapist who not only does all that but who will also listen to everything you say (as well as the meaning behind what you say) and then challenge your thinking habits to help you find more effective and productive thinking patterns, then I'm on board for that. I learned a long time ago that many clients do not want things "Sugar Coated", but rather prefer their therapist to be respectfully bold and blunt. If this is who you are looking for in a therapist, then let's get to work.

Hello! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from Puerto Rico based in Orlando, Florida, who blends warmth with structure to help you make real, measurable progress. I primarily work with Hispanic families, supporting parents, partners, and teens to untangle intergenerational patterns, navigate acculturation stressors, strengthen communication, and rebuild secure attachment while honoring culture, values, and family bonds. My name is Amber and I am just your average woman living life in the midwest. I am a wife, mother to 3, soon to be 4 (in September 2026), littles and therapist. I have served all kinds of populations from incarceration to outpatient working with kiddos as young as 3 to adults in their 80s. What you see in session, the laid back, goofy but can be blunt person is who you'd meet on the street if you saw me in public. I believe healing comes from within but also from the people you choose to surround yourself with. Some people have a great support system and others have me as their cheerleader and I strive to be a good one.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals navigate through a wide range of emotional and life challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship concerns. Break the generational cycles that compromise your clarity and presence. I provide a framework to navigate the 'unwritten rules'—the inherited expectations and family scripts—that drive burnout. We move beyond venting into a structured roadmap, designed to optimize your mental capacity for your family, your career, and your future stewardship.
This approach is for those who feels the weight of performance and expectations. We focus on Relational Integrity: the ability to be the person you want to be even when the pressure is high. We audit the 'Family Playbook'—the silent rules we grew up with that dictate how we handle conflict, pressure, and connection today. By understanding these blueprints, we don't just solve for stress; we restore the stability and quality of your home. It’s about moving from 'white-knuckling' your way through the day towards a reliable, clear-headed presence for the people who matter most.
Whether you are navigating burnout, career stress or simply trying to be a more grounded parent and partner, our sessions are a straightforward collaboration. I offer a space that is objective, structured, and goal oriented. We aren't here to dwell on the past; we are here to understand it so you can move forward with purpose and clarity. This is about ensuring the environment you’re building is one of stability and reliability.

As a wife, mother, and therapist, I understand the importance of balancing personal responsibilities, relationships, self-care, and life’s many transitions. There is one thing I am gifted at and that’s touching the lives of others through therapy. A wise man once said, “Mental strength is not the ability to stay out of the darkness; it’s the ability to sit present in the darkness knowing that the light will shine again”. I am an influencer of change and a strong believer that your perspective will take you as far as you can see.
Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota).
I specialize in working with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life.
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance.
I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy.
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.

Hi, I'm Nicole Bakewell, MS, LMHC, NCC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I believe everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can feel genuinely seen, heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing begins with connection. I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are, without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. Therapy isn't about being perfect; it's about understanding yourself, recognizing patterns, healing emotional wounds, and discovering healthier ways to move forward.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, infidelity, grief, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth. I am especially passionate about helping clients understand how past experiences influence their present emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
In our sessions, you can expect a balance of compassion, honesty, encouragement, and gentle accountability. I'm not a therapist who simply sits back and listens. I believe in meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, practical tools, and helping you connect the dots between where you've been and where you want to go.
I recognize that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you've spent so much time being strong for everyone else. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to explore the difficult things while also recognizing your resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth.
Whether you're working through painful experiences, rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, and you don't have to have all the answers before beginning. Sometimes, the most meaningful changes begin with simply feeling understood.

I help individuals and couples uncover those early wounds and start healing—through psychotherapy grounded in neuroscience and mindfulness. Because healing isn’t just talk; it’s nervous system deep. The body keeps the score, but you get to rewrite the story. Let’s create the life you were always meant to live. Not all therapies or therapists are created equal, as you know if you are still struggling with the same issues. Time for a change.
If you want to feel better about yourself, confident, excited about life, build healthier relationships, and become your best self, welcome to creating your best life. Together, we'll integrate Mind/Body/Spirit approaches with classical therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs.
For over 13 years, I have dedicated my practice to supporting women as they navigate the many demands of modern life. I understand firsthand what it means to move between worlds. Growing up in Brooklyn as the daughter of immigrant parents, and now living in South Florida, I have been shaped by diverse cultures, communities, and perspectives. My love of travel has deepened that curiosity about the human experience. In the therapy room, this translates into a genuine ability to meet you where you are regardless of your background, your story, or how far from yourself you may feel right now.
I've been in the behavioral health field since 1999 and practiced as a therapist since 2006. I'm trauma-informed, neurodivergent affirming, and strengths-based in my approaches. I am EMDR certified and specialize in: anxiety, trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence. I'm also the parent of an autistic teen, so I know first-hand the challenges parents go through in trying to do what's best for their child and not always knowing what that is.
Hi, I'm Kelly McIntyre, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, QS, founder of Sunlight Counseling and Assessments, LLC.I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and supported while also being challenged to grow. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative.
Clients often describe me as calming, honest, genuine, and approachable. While I provide empathy and validation, I also offer gentle accountability and encouragement when needed. I believe growth happens when we feel supported enough to step outside of our comfort zones, and I work alongside my clients to help them build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.
I have been a therapist for over twenty years. It is an honor to support clients to achieve their goals for joy, peace, and understanding.
I enjoy watching clients "find themselves" again after a period of performing on autopilot. Whatever your goals are, I believe that with the right support you will be successful. I am here to listen and to support you as you explore where you are and where you would like to go.
Hi, I'm Jackie.
One question stays with me before every session:
If I were sitting where my client is sitting, what would help me feel safe enough to come back?
That question shapes how I show up as a therapist.
Therapy changed my life because it gave me something I didn't know I was missing, a place where I didn't have to perform, explain, or earn my worth. That's the kind of space I hope to create for every person I work with.
I don't believe people are broken.
I believe people adapt.
One quote has stayed with me for years because it captures that idea better than I ever could:
"I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either."
I think many of us grow up in our own version of a glass house. Maybe you became the responsible one, the peacemaker, the perfectionist, or the person who learned to stay quiet. Those weren't flaws, they were ways of surviving.
The challenge is that what helped us survive then doesn't always help us live now.
That's where therapy begins.
Together, we'll become curious about the patterns you've been living, not because I want to fix you, but because I want you to understand yourself.
My approach integrates attachment theory, parts work, CBT, DBT, and nervous system regulation because healing isn't about treating isolated symptoms. It's about making sense of your story so you can trust yourself, build healthier relationships, and create a life that feels more like your own.
I’m a licensed therapist who strives to see families and parents learn new ways, techniques and strategies on how to cope with real life changes and see individuals learn about themselves and begin to process life challenges. I enjoy the traditional Florida lifestyle of exploring nature, the springs, the beaches and all the hiking trails and state parks Florida offers.
