Struggling with chronic illness or pain? As someone diagnosed with POTS, I understand how ongoing health conditions can shape your mental health and overall well‑being, and I bring that lived experience into my work with clients.
Hi, I’m Kayla, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing online therapy throughout LA and FL, offering a supportive space for individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and major life transitions. With six years of experience in both school and private practice settings, I help clients of all ages and backgrounds feel understood, grounded, and empowered.
Hi, I'm Jackie.
One question stays with me before every session:
If I were sitting where my client is sitting, what would help me feel safe enough to come back?
That question shapes how I show up as a therapist.
Therapy changed my life because it gave me something I didn't know I was missing, a place where I didn't have to perform, explain, or earn my worth. That's the kind of space I hope to create for every person I work with.
I don't believe people are broken.
I believe people adapt.
One quote has stayed with me for years because it captures that idea better than I ever could:
"I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either."
I think many of us grow up in our own version of a glass house. Maybe you became the responsible one, the peacemaker, the perfectionist, or the person who learned to stay quiet. Those weren't flaws, they were ways of surviving.
The challenge is that what helped us survive then doesn't always help us live now.
That's where therapy begins.
Together, we'll become curious about the patterns you've been living, not because I want to fix you, but because I want you to understand yourself.
My approach integrates attachment theory, parts work, CBT, DBT, and nervous system regulation because healing isn't about treating isolated symptoms. It's about making sense of your story so you can trust yourself, build healthier relationships, and create a life that feels more like your own.

As a professor, I teach multiple approaches, including solution-focused theory, cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and systemic approaches. I employ the intervention based on the client's needs, strengths, and stages.
My primary focus is on high-achieving professionals who, from the outside, seem to have it all together but are secretly grappling with burnout, isolation, and the weight of relentless stress. Having practiced family law for over 20 years, I intimately understand the unique pressures of demanding careers—the high stakes, the constant 'on' mode, and the way self-care often falls to the bottom of the list until anxiety, depression and substance abuse can no longer be ignored. I specialize in working with current and former athletes, college students, and adults navigating major life transitions between the ages of 16 and 40. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, low confidence, or feeling overwhelmed by what’s next. I focus on helping you understand what’s holding you back, strengthen your sense of self, and create forward momentum, without pressure to have everything figured out.
Starting therapy is a powerful and courageous step toward change, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person holds the capacity for deep transformation. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or navigating the complexities of your identity, relationships, or past experiences, therapy can be a space of discovery, healing, and growth.
I offer an empowering and collaborative therapeutic relationship where your voice, values, and lived experiences are honored. In our work together, you are not seen as a problem to be fixed, but as a whole and capable person—deserving of care, clarity, and connection.

I have over 20 years of clinical experience and training working with individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with identity development, relational problems, trauma, family of origin issues, racial trauma, bereavement issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and stress management.

Hi, I'm Autumn Stanley, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon who works with adolescents, adults, and caregivers navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and neurodivergent experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you build practical tools while developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
My name is Mary Vaughan and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida. I have been in the mental health business for 35+ years. I love my work and that is the reason have stayed in it as long as I have. I am a military brat and I have moved around in Europe and many states.
Before I begin to work with a client, I tell them some of my background. It is my opinion the client should know something about his/her counselor before we begin our work.
I have had very successful results working with people who suffer from some kind of abuse ( either in childhood or as a young adult.) If abuse has occurred at most any age, the individual may come to me and tell me that they are experincing stress, depression, anxiety and/or panic attacks.
Before beginning counseling, I inform the client that we will have a questioning and answer process. This allows the client and me to get to know each other a little better. Based on the information I gather about my client, we discuss what the client wants from their sessions. The individual and I work together as a team. In this process, the client gains a sense of self-esteem and a sense of control over their lives going forward in the future.
Finding the right "fit" of counselor and client is key to a successful experience for the client. After the counselor gives the client some unique coping skills, the counselor asks the client if these skills might work for them. These coping skills are "Fluid" and can be modified and changed as we proceed in the counseling process.
