Helping Women Heal from Betrayal, Reclaim Their Identity, and Rebuild Trust in Themselves I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping women who feel like they’ve lost themselves find their way back to who they truly are. My background includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and complex relationship experiences. I specialize in supporting women who are healing from betrayal, emotional wounds, and identity struggles—especially those who appear “strong” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain within. I take a warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate approach to therapy. I believe you shouldn’t have to filter yourself or have it all together to be supported. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, process what you’ve been carrying, and begin rebuilding your sense of self with clarity and confidence. As a Christian, I understand the importance of faith in the healing journey and can incorporate spiritual reflection in a way that feels supportive and empowering—if that aligns with your values. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Counseling, and my work is rooted in evidence-based practices while also honoring the emotional, relational, and (if important to you) spiritual parts of your healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to work toward. I may ask some questions to better understand your experiences and patterns, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once, we’ll go at your pace. If you’re someone who feels like you “should have it together” but don’t, this is a space where you can finally exhale and be real. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you feel heard, supported, and reassured that you don’t have to navigate this alone and that healing is truly possible for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you reconnect with your inner strength and authentic self. I work from a trauma-informed lens, with particular expertise in betrayal trauma, relationship wounds, and identity restoration. I combine evidence-based methods, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches—with reflective, heart-centered strategies to help you process emotions, identify patterns, and build practical tools for your life. If desired, I integrate faith-based perspectives in a supportive and nonjudgmental way, helping you align emotional healing with spiritual growth. My goal is to help you move beyond merely “coping” to feeling grounded, confident, and truly whole in your everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are women who appear strong on the outside but feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected inside. They may have experienced betrayal, broken trust, or relational wounds that have left them questioning their worth and identity. They’re ready to do the deep, sometimes difficult work of healing, rebuilding self-confidence, and reclaiming their sense of self. These women are seeking a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where they can explore their emotions, process past hurts, and develop practical tools for navigating life with clarity and confidence. If faith is important to them, they’re open to gently integrating spiritual reflection into their healing journey. Simply put, my ideal client is ready to step into a life where they feel whole, grounded, and empowered again—inside and out.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and build healthier ways of thinking and coping. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I provide tools and strategies that can be applied in daily life to support meaningful, lasting change, all within a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients recognize their strengths and focus on practical, forward-looking solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Together, we build on what’s already working and establish clear, achievable goals. My approach is collaborative and empowering, with an emphasis on creating meaningful change in a relatively short period of time.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, emphasizing safety, trust, and empowerment in the therapeutic relationship. I recognize the impact of past experiences and work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, develop coping strategies, and support meaningful, lasting healing.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My person-centered approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and respected, allowing them to explore their experiences openly and move toward growth at their own pace.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. Together, we identify and challenge problem-saturated narratives, separating the person from the problem and highlighting strengths, values, and resilience. This approach allows clients to re-author their stories in ways that feel more empowering and aligned with who they are and who they want to become.
