Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, review policies and procedures, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My primary strength is my ability to connect with people. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to achieving positive outcomes in therapy. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I am committed to understanding each client's unique needs and tailoring my approach to meet those needs. I understand that therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable experience, and I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I believe that empathy and compassion are essential components of effective therapy and I work to cultivate those qualities in my work with clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I'm here to support anyone who is seeking practical, solution-focused therapy tailored to their current challenges. My ideal client is someone who feels motivated to make positive changes in their life and is open to learning new coping skills and strategies. They're interested in exploring the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and they're eager to actively engage in therapy by completing homework assignments and practicing new skills outside of our sessions. Together, we can work towards your goals in a supportive and collaborative way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts influence emotions and behaviors. I guide them in identifying and challenging cognitive distortions, then support them in reframing thoughts and practicing healthier coping strategies. This approach is especially effective in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem. I incorporate tools like journaling, behavioral experiments, and role-play to help clients apply CBT skills in real-life situations.
