Hi, I am an LCSW and practice in the state of Connecticut. I have my MSW from U-Conn School of Social Work and have been practicing for over 30 years. Throughout the years, I have primarily worked with teenagers and their families in a psychiatric hospital based clinical day school. That includes direct experience with Special Education services, PPT meetings, IEP's (Individual Education Plans) and behavioral challenges within the school setting.
I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, and life transitions with greater clarity and resilience. My practice also focuses on supporting working mothers and new moms as they manage the complexities of parenting, career, and self-care. Drawing on both clinical experience and my personal experience as a mother of three, I bring a grounded and compassionate approach to my work. I aim to provide a collaborative, client-centered environment that promotes meaningful growth and lasting change.

I am an LCSW with over 20 years experience as a front line clinician, supervisor and manager in the fields of substance use and addiction. Although I have learned a number of different approaches over the years, the therapy I provide has as its basis respect and a valuing of your unique strengths and gifts.
As a therapist, my approach is grounded, conversational, and free of judgment. Clients often tell me it feels like talking to someone who “gets it,” while still being guided in a way that creates real change. Life can be happy, joyous, and fulfilling. However, life can also be challenging at times. Challenges may involve external situations which we're currently facing, they may be internal struggles involving our feelings and thoughts, or both. During these challenging times, it is often beneficial to work with an empathetic, supportive, and knowledgeable therapist who will assist you in taking the steps necessary to deal with such challenges effectively and move forward with your life.
